I can't see the hatred any reasonable person from the productive south will always be happy for this news at least the south especially the people of the niger delta will now breath a sign of relief from the huge burden of feeding the core north for decades.

Igbo's are very happy for he North because Igbo's have always been best business partners of the North. Igbo's know their real enemy, not the North.

It will not change the fact that 80% of the oil money will be shared and will enter private pocket of corrupt individuals.

We have seen it in Niger delta. We need to get leadership right first before thinking of another thing.

Since there's now oil in the North, can we now devide Nigeria Peacefully so every region will go there separate ways and explore their resources instead of continuing to deceive ourselves about ONE NIGERIA.

I'm happy for the North. I wish there will be more oil fields in the North more than the south so that Nigeria will peacefully and quickly divide.

Is it exploration or extraction? If it is only exploration, why are you rejoicing? It doesn't take long to explore for crude oil, yet you guys have been claiming since 2019 that you have crude. How much of the 1.5 million barrels that Nigeria produces comes from the North?

Some even said the site is not in Gombe but Rivers State while others said the pipeline is connected to Niger Delta to be pumping Niger Delta Oil to Bauchi.
