pansophist:not written anywhere nor is it set in stone that a man must provide for the woman. That's just plain exploitation. A woman should be capable of providing for herself because she went to school and can work; but if a man wants to perish, he can continue doing the provider nonsense. Men mock females in their 30s because they were power drunk in the peak of their youth and thought it will last forever...so the ones in their 30s and single deserve to be mocked..... |

pansophist:abeg boss this question no dy related to the topic but all these business guys wey dey go China, wetin dem dey go do ? is it importation business? why type goods are they importing. I'm sure there are other things besides importation, if you know more about this I'll be happy to hear from you. |
| Re: My Moms Tears Weaks Me Each Time I Try To Find My Way Out by pansophist(m): 11:54am On Nov 20, 2022 |
KingClown:Go to Ladipo or Alaba market. They offload containers coming from China there everyday, that's how you know what they import. Nigeria is a consumer society, we only produce oil, so anything the people want will sell. Especially women products. So hair, cream, shoes, wears, bags, etc will sell. |

BigBashiru:If you're married to a woman, then you should provide for her. I respect your decision to think that a woman should provide for herself, but as for me, I'll provide for my own wife, who is an extension of me. The question here would be, will such women be worth my sacrifice? Not if I'll provide or not. It would be a shame for a wife to still worry about her livelihood during times like pregnancy, child nursing etc. What's the man's usefulness then? Where is your self respect? Your honour? Your strength? Please explain to me in clear terms how you'll be useful to your wife if you can't provide for her. |

pansophist:You have an outdated patriarchal mentality. See bah it's simple...provide for ur wife and die doing so okay? The litmus test and true test of love is if the roles were to be reversed, will the wife also provide for you? There are two options: follow the crowd as ur currently doing or 2. Think differently. Nuff said. |

BigBashiru: ![]() @bolded, Reverse psychology lol, beating women in their game. Unto equality things, we do it 50/50. But where I am different is that feminists can all go to hell. I see that patriarchal nonsense as what it is, nonsense. Yes, I am patriarchial. Hence I said its about a providing for a worthy woman. A worthy women will assist her husband, is not lazy, and useful beyond sex. |

Couragejay:How bad do you want to be successful? If you can read and write, in good shape and not filled with useless pride, you can always hustle the money. Go to your nearest park, and you can be a conductor straight up. Or to market and carry stuff for people, then save up to climb the social ladder. If you can save 100k in three months, then look a spot at a busy junction and start selling fast moving foods. Fry Akara, yam, or an indomie joint. Or if you have family that can give you 100k, then skip the second paragraph. As you're selling maybe the noodle joint, try to see what you can do to climb up again, maybe a proper restaurant after a year of saving up. Then try make it two restaurants. And maybe save for a car and start Uber. These are just examples, but if you're willing to put in the work, you'll be successful. I'm a living witness. If you have a laptop, then see if you can be flashing and downloading stuff in your area or computer village. Just start small with anything, and grow. Food may not be your thing, it's fine. Start, just start something. The circle of life is birth, then growth. The idea that you cannot do anything because you're broke is a convenient excuse. It's like saying you can't go for jogging because it's raining. Meanwhile people are working inside the rain. But please, pick a degree program at the open university, so you can attend in the weekend while your business grows. Kill two birds with one stone. Don't join the gang of weaklings who go to uni to flex and fork, then "graduate" dumb, broke, and a baggage to society. See I was born in the trenches. I'm not from money at all. But I did things like this before I left Naija and life was hard at first, but became beautiful later. People laughed at me but who cares? When I wrote my first scholarship exam to leave Naija, I got lots of look down and people telling me that I can't make it. But I passed. I proved to myself and to them the stuff I'm made of. I studied for straight six months before I go write the exam. At 18, I've been studying for SAT, IELTS, and past questions. And I was amongst the less than 40 students chosen in the midst of thousands that applied. I believe that the universe works with the rythym of cause and effect. If you want something and are willing to pay the price, it will give it to you. So the question now is, can you make yourself lightweight to reach salvation? Can you become more hardworking, patience, courageous, kill off your ego, and believe in yourself? Are you teachable and to be a servant then a master later? Can you prove to yourself that you are capable of being your own saviour? Your destiny is in your hands man. |

Couragejay:Ofcourse, I was just pointing out why she qcts that way. But, you need to also seek divine direction, the power to make weath "naturally" is in His hands. If God help you, getting married may be q blessing to you. |
