What are the things you've heard or know people do to Japa out of the country either by hook or by crook?

I was shocked to hear that people took loan from loan companies and jet out of the country. That's preposterous.

Let's hear from you and see how desperate people are willing to travel abroad.

I think it's ridiculous for a person to be selling his/her pots, plates, spoons and other kitchen utensils just to raise money for plane ticket to leave Nigeria

They literally advertise the madness in WhatsApp groups openly these days. One person would be going for schooling, the other will become fake spouse and be the dependent, they both share the travelling expenses 50-50. A former classmate of my wife who did this also said she is doing it for her children (she has the husband's approval). Her passport still has maiden name and she and her husband no do court wedding. She did arrangee court wedding with the travelling partner and they left. Pikin dey with her mama. After the gist, I tell my wife say make she cease all communication with the weere. May we not be padis with awon ti tiwon ti baje.

People take loans to pay tuition deposits to japa for studies. Only to work over 20 hours to meet up with bills and debt . Then get caught later.

People still believe agents charging them 300k to 500k can do canada work visa for them.
