Please can you show me the level of involvement of the Hausa community in the East compared to the contributions of the Igbos in their host communities.

For a starter the igbos do business and live amongst the people (unlike the Hausa who mainly chose to live in a semi ghetto kind of settings).

The Igbos invest in their host communities by buying and developing real estates. They form a sizeable portion of the trade community and they rent and own shops with goods running into millions. These are long term investments an indication that they believe in their host community and are determined to contribute their bits.

So it natural for them to easily engage in market politics by putting their money where their mouth is.

What exactly do the Hausa do, they don't buy land to develop neither do they operate businesses that will force them to invest in the real estate or other long lasting investments.
