This is too bad. In developed countries, you hardly see the military...they are always in Barracks!

Security officers in this third world nation will rather clash with one another than with criminals and terrorists!

If they all put in this animosity and belligerence into insecurity and against agents of insecurity, this will be the safest nation in the universe!

ahnie:
Who does that?
Imagine passers-by separating fights between naval and police personnels.

I just pity the person trying to broker peace between them.

Those oversabi passersby chop belleful!

That's no different from jumping in to break up fights among street touts and urchins.

No sane person does that!

Knowing Naval command, these naval ratings will be swiftly rounded up and handed to the Police for prosecution.

Naval chain of command do not joke with indiscipline or any of their men and officers running foul with the law.

The ratings involved should just go on AWOL because their officers do not tolerate indiscipline and law breakers.

This happens every year. Seniority in our armed forces didn’t start today and won’t end in the next twenty years. In the military regime where it was assumed all the armed forces lived in peace, this still happened.

The police has the authority inside the borders of a country. All other military personnels are supposed to obey that authority. The military is subject to the police inside the borders of a country.

Nigeria is just too lawless. No wonder Nnamdi Kanu called Nigeria a zoo country. The police don't respect themselves so who will even want to respect them. All they do is mount checkpoint to collect #50 Egunje.
I do tell people this.
The military has no business with the internal affair of the country. A military man should not be seen carrying guns mounting road block in the country to the extent that they now monitor election haha.

Two public servants that think they are above the law. Bad meets Evil.
Just about a week ago, i witnessed a serious altercation between Immigration officers and the Police officers. The cause of the face off was because the police officers saw a barricade of the NIS and decided to remove it without the permission of the NIS officers. SMH

There has been this feeling of superiority between the nations security forces,as we all know, the police has always been underrated by the navy, air force and army, they look at them as under dogs. The army, expecially felt they are much more important among the lot.
What i see here is lack of good sensitization among them, they all complement one another as they have their important functions and duties

Only in Nigeria are police officers treated like trash by soldiers, even stupid naval ratings of all people. In most part of the world police are the ultimate authority in law and order and day to day law enforcement, and will easily arrest any stupid soldier misbehaving. That is even if you can see a soldier in uniform on the street talkless of misbehaving.

The Nigeria Security Agency is the most stupid and shameless security in the world...

You can't hear that security who are supposed to be working together for peace are fighting each other elsewhere...

Mod: Police shud be checkemate of massive illiteracy ASAP. How can only them be fighting, Soldier, Airforce and now Navy...

They are the ultimate authority on domestic law and order in virtually everywhere in the world, but their corruption and general inefficiency have made the police in Nigeria to lose all respect especially from the armed forces.
