Amedino99:Go and check richarlison followers after he scored that sensational goal in the World Cup. From 7mil to 14 and still growing same thing with hakimi and almost everybody else. Same richarlison played in copa final nobody bats an eye but in World Cup you can the reviews and everything. So you’re telling me that you pick afcon ? Over a World Cup semi final you must be delusional |

Blueelf:People think we’re 2002 Brazil like come on na Kanu and okocha has been retired for over a decade now we still call them golden generation to tell you how hard we’ve fall and our backwards our mentality is |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 4:33pm On Dec 07, 2022 |
Blueelf:Spain lost by penalties. It is like a toss of the coin. They played well and lost. They will try again. What matters is that they will keep pushing. They have won the Euros twice and the World Cup not too long ago. They left the Euros in the Semis. It is still a young growing side. So leaving second round is not the end of the world. Leaving France 98 in the first round did not stop them from winning the World Cup in the future. Finito. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Blueelf: 4:36pm On Dec 07, 2022 |
typicalgamer:Very backwards Very Over 5 years since carl ikeme and we haven't even got 1 solid GK not to talk of 3 Over 10 years since Okocha and Kanu yet can't boast of 1 complete creative midfielder Over 13 yrs since Finidi and we can't get a solid winger with solid end-product Let one CHuks score 1 goal in 15 games and watch how this thread will go bunkers We like to celebrate mediocrity |

typicalgamer:Sometimes, I wonder if I will ever see the Super Eagles get to the Semi-final of the WC in 90 yrs time Because, as I said, our problems are deeply rooted and will take decades to fix. We should stop comparing ourselves with morocco The truth is the average Nigerian Football official/player/ref is very greedy and is concerned about what he will eat now than what the generations to come will benefit from From our lower division leagues to the premier leagues to the NFF to the sports ministry, the root of corruption ha spread its roots all over Where do we start from? Even our own billionaires don't want to buy our sports teams because of the mess that is our league. \the rot and corruption stinks and makes even Lucifer himself shudder Nigeria has a long way to go We appoint politicians into sensitive sports positions and expect complete turnaround Even our ex-internationals that should help us salvage our remaining dignity sportswise are busy advertising sports bet. How many of them can show you a UEFA coaching license..even if it's the least one? This shows you that the average black man na for himslef alone. Our ex-internationals are hardly interested in moving our football forward. The ones interested like amuneke, Finidi, Olofinjana won't be given the chance; they will be owed salaries till the second coming of Christ E be like say Naija dey under one Old mama curse...abi no be so? |

Blueelf:Just look at South African sporting facilities Not just football sporting facilities in cricket, rugby you name it. What year would Nigeria win a bid for fifa World Cup and with what facilities? Only thing we’re good for is winning Paralympics (no offense) ![]() Or claiming an already established athlete to a Nigerian decent. Omo our wahala no too much |
