1. Ronaldo felt he was disrespected by being benched by his manager. He wants to dictate when to play, for how long he is on the pitch to his manager tasked with that authority. He wants to usurp the power of the manager, His manager wouldn’t have it, then he tagged it disrespectful. This is a total contrast to the case of LVG vs Messi.

2. LVG is a rival manager, apart from the fact that Messi is not under any contractual obligation to respect LVG while Ronaldo has to when it comes to ETH. LVG was the one who went to throw tantrums at Messi and the Argentinian team during his presser. Messi only responded by rubbing the victory on his face. This is normal in sports.

3. If Ronaldo was rubbing victory on the face of the sport analysts that criticize him, rival club managers eg Arteta or Pep, the hierarchy at United won’t have problem with it.
