Hello Everyone as my way of giving back to the thread

It’s also better to start the process of getting your PR immediately you arrive Mexico cause it’s almost a 1month and a half wait time for appointments.
Congratulations and welcome back. I

Hello Everyone as my way of giving back to the thread

I gave birth last month and I’m back in Nigeria. Got in with a Uk visa. I was also able to get an agent from Nigeria who helped me with the process. Her fees were less than what others were charging by half.Giving birth in Mexico is cheap however a lot of these agents charge between $4000 for getting you a hospital and assisting with babies passport and PR and minimum of $2500 for documents alone. These are all exclusive of hospital bills, accommodation, Govt fees for PR etc.

At point of entry wear something big and have your return ticket.

Also there are constraints about getting documents if your spouse is not with you, this is what I experienced, however the agent helped me navigate it and I was able to get my Pr and babies passport however I will advice your spouse be there even if it just to do the documentation process.

Mexico is a good place to give birth and they are very friendly set of people even with the language barrier.

It’s also better to start the process of getting your PR immediately you arrive Mexico cause it’s almost a 1month and a half wait time for appointments.

How much was your agent's fee

I'm considering either Mexico or Brazil although I prefer Brazil to be honest but I will like to have an idea how much your agent charged you, average cost of rentals, options of hiring a nanny and the cost and other contingencies that one could budget for?

Hello fellow Nairalanders, Please I need clarification on this issue. I want to apply for a schengen visa at the France embassy with the intention of traveling to mexico with it. But a friend of mine said that Mexican immigration only accept schengen visa issued by Spain. I don't know how truthful that is and will like people with travel experience in the house to advice please.

Hello house,
Those that have gone to Mexico should tell us what to present or show at the point of entry? Please it’s urgent. I learnt some Nigerians are sent back from the point of entry,I don’t how true is that information.

Hello,

So yes I had my baby and I am back to Naija with my baby passport and my PR.
Working with my agent and Lawyer so I can get my passport after I complete the mandatory 2 years stay. Till then I am now a citizen of two countries and I am proud of my self.
To those who wants to take same journey I say it is well worth it.
Congratulations in advance
Viva Mexico

Good morning madam, I want to ask. Did you work in Mexico when you went there?

Yes we can not over emphasize this to enter Mecico you don’t necessarily need a Mexican visa. Infact they are not even issuing visa in Nigeria as it stands. You can still enter the country if you have a USA visa, Canada visa, Uk visa, Schengen visa or a Japan visa.
So you see the options are enormous.

Hope you are clear now.

you are all talking as if this schengen visa is easy to get

Pls House help!!!
Someone is promising to get me a Mexico visa, I was not asked to submit my international passport and I won’t have to go to the embassy for biometric.
I was only asked to send soft copy of my international passport data page and passport photograph
I don’t know anything about Mexico and their visas, I’ve tried to get information about it on google but I’m not getting what I want. I’ve heard about FMM, tourist Visa card, sticker visa and e-visa but I’m not yet getting the main thing.
Can anyone help me so as not to fall prey? Abeg pls
Please, can anyone enlighten me

Thanks for the response Blackfinegirl. It’s someone that connected me to this agent and he said she’s the one that did his schengen. This woman is saying there’s e-visa too and that’s what she has the opportunity of doing for me.
I have no clue about Mexico at all because I would not a situation whereby she will do it and later have issues at the port of entry after all money has been spent on visa procurement and ticket
Pls do you know anyone that has gone through this e-visa or is anyone here that know about the Mexico e-visa or can anyone link me to page where they are discussing this Mexico e-visa? I beg everyone in the name of God, I’m to borrow money to do all this processing, I do not want to run into everlasting debt abeg. Ejooor!
