Mbanu na........ They started killing us here in the north Sharia riots 2000 and etc denying our pacability in nation building. We can't assassinate him. Nook we will chose to ignore him. We shall continue to demand for kanu release |

HardBishop:A man calling for the killing of igbos who didn't acede to his enslavement? A man who controls you like slaves? You still honor him, you want him alive? Support his assassination, increase the bountys on his head, hungry murkers everywhere, with the right amount, they murk anyone, visit him with darkness. Don't let one fool jeopardize the safety of the entire Igbo race. |

gidgiddy: First of all, the most marginalised tribes in Nigeria are those who control the resources of this country. Funnily enough, you rarely see South South people demanding their own country like the South East. Bros, we cannot wash our dirty linens in public, so I will choose my words carefully. However, what IPOB should have done would have been to team up with other regions in the South that are calling for restructuring. South West and South South want this country restructured. The government won't have a choice but obey. If ordinary Wike can make the almighty Sultan of Sokoto to come down to Rivers State and beg him to support Atiku, imagine what would have happened if IPOB, Niger Delta militants and OPC gang up and threaten Nigerian government that they will shut down the entire South if the country is not restructured. Like I always tell those who care to listen, one tribe cannot successfully pull out of this country because others will come for you (through the military) and destroy your land. I don't want to believe that we didn't learn from the mistakes of 1967. Cc Owobokiri |

Igboslayer: Dude, you blaming Ojukwu for the civil war, it seem you don't have any understanding of the issues and circumstances that led to the civil war. I am not Igbo and I don't speak for them, but some of your narratives are wrong. Ojukwu was against the Nzeogwu coup, and infact Ojukwu was in charge of the Army overseeing Kano and Kaduna when the coup took place and he fought the coupists from taking over Kano and Kaduna. Nzeogwu and the coupists had taken over the entire country except Kano and Kaduna. The coup would have succeeded if they had taken over Kano and Kaduna. So how come Ojukwu is being blamed as part of the coup if he actually stopped it? It might interest you to know that the events that led to the civil war was the revolts from Northerners by killing anyone from the old Eastern region (Igbos, Cross riverians, Rivers, Delta) both military and civilian. Ojukwu complained bitterly and wanted it to stopped and he was threathened. He had to flee the North and as the most senior officer from Igbo, he tried to negotiate an end to the killings of the Igbos or they would fight back in war. Gowon who was head of state tried to stop the killings, but he was considered as weak by his northern brothers so he couldn't stop the killings. This led to the civil war as some of Ojukwus demand for yielding the Eastern region was not met. Coming back to present day, Simon Ekpa is a terrorist and should be treated like one when caught. And any act by IPOB or any radical group is condemnable. The war experience was bad. We do not need anything that will drag the country back to war. |

SmartPolician: You still dont get it. To restructure Nigeria, you will have change the constitution. To change the constitution, you will need at least a two third majority vote in not just the national assembly, but the state assembly of all 36 States of Nigeria With the core North controlling almost 40% of the national assembly and 13 states of Nigeria, it is mission impossible Nigeria cannot be restructured, not now or in a million years 1 Like |

SmartPolician:bro it baffles me how igbo people are killing their citizens over the order of sit at home by Simon ekpa. They kill their elites who suppose to talk on their behalf, they kill their brothers and sisters who are in military uniform even kill their children going for exams, they chase priest out of church auditorium and from their map they included Akwa ibom , Delta, Rivers, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa, Edo the core Niger delta states, knowing that we Niger delta can't be ruled by them. We can't be under any Biafra. If the give them their own republic, they should get ready to give us our Niger delta republic. Simon ekpa has eaten more than he can chew. For a second thought , why will someone sitting in Finland instruct me here in Nigeria to burn down police station and carry arms, some igbo youths I just tire for Una, some of them have even lost their lives trying to commit those atrocities. 1 Like |

SmartPolician: And the igbos are not part of the group that control the resources? Do you know how many Igbo villages from Rivers through Delta to Imo and Abia States that help pump Oil for Nigeria everyday? Do you know that for the last few years, the federation allocations that are shared every months are basically gotten from import duties and VATs? Who play much role in the import business in this country? Not the igbo business men? Do you know that the biggest gas and coal reserves in Africa are all located in the east!? Do you understand that this countrys future economy is being piloted towards gas sales and this means that the east is most probably going to supply the bulk? What has the East gotten in return since the end of the war? Second Niger bridge! Right? Where is the hope you keep preaching about? Or we should just accept Nigeria because of a much vaunted big market? Irrespective of the killings and lootings? I mean, the president is clandestinely preparing his brother to take over power in other to rule the country for another 8 years! That's a 16 years streak at the presidency for the minority fulani! And you still see a bright future for the igbos who have been sidelined from the center since 1966 by the same group? Be realistic for once bro... Nigeria didn't work and it's not because the igbos didn't put much effort. Some people want to turn the presidency of a multi ethnic state into a turn by turn looting venture... The have zero interest in nation building. No future here.. |

I hope Biafra leaves Nigeria today. I can bet everything I have that they will not last pass 13 months. To successfully exit Nigeria and be prosper, they need unity, they need to be selfless, they need leadership skills, they need integrity, they need common sense, they need peace, they need self respect and respect for other things, but unfortunately, the igbos lack all these qualities. Therefore, the outcome of Biafra exiting Nigeria will simply be continuation of killing themselves like flies. Without Lagos and the Yorubas who are the Igbos? Answer: Nobody. |
