Collione:

P0523 replace oil pressure switch
P2185 coolant temperature sensor. I suspect your fan is connected directly.
P0135 replace 02 sensor
P0102 clean or replace your mass air flow sensor. It is located on the air box hose or close to the airbox.

Good day all, my Honda Accord 2006 is giving me serious headache recently. The car can just choose to start today, and refuse to start tomorrow. These have been going on for 2weeks. The mechanic checked the car and said the fuel pump is ok.
Please, what could be the issue?

Scan the car if the check engine light is on then post the codes. Please let's avoid guess work

What type of engine is in the vehicle? How does it behave whenever you try to crank it and it fails to start?

Does the engine roll over without starting?

Does it make ‘clicking’ noises without starting?

Does the battery start other vehicles after failing to start yours?

Is your fuel pump ‘priming’ (can you hear it ‘humm’) when you turn your key in the ignition?

When last did you touch your kick starter?

Good evening all, I change my civic 06 shocks and shaft recently but suddenly the car enters limp
/emergency mode. Scanned the car, it says I should service the gear and change the shaft cup but unfortunately I was unable to get the exact code from the guy who scanned the car

Pay for a scan and get the exact codes. Don’t do anything to the vehicle until you do so. It’s a tiny problem but if you tackle it from the wrong angle your problems will multiply

The shaft may have contaminated the gear. This is how so many cars gears are killed. New shaft are better to avoid gear contamination. Or property washed toks shaft with fuel and sundry

I’ve never seen a gearbox issue make a Honda Civic of that year go into limp mode. Any issue with the gearbox usually makes the vehicle either drive or drag on the road but it never limits its rev count below 3000rpm.

His issue might simply be electrical.

Limp mode & gear box issues are not related, a plug coil or rocker arm can cause that, unless what you are trying to describe as limp mode may be something else, probably your gear not downshifting properly.

Do another scan and report here with the codes.

A simple google search of the code would have pointed you in the right direction. Your throttle body is malfunctioning in communication with your brainbox.

I don’t have any first hand experience with the electronic throttle body system so I believe the issue is either with the fuse controlling that system or it’s associated wiring or sensors according to online reports concerning your same issue. Have your throttle body checked for loose wiring around it’s connected sensors and also have a proper scrutiny of the fuses that control your throttle input.

The below three problem lights are not good to see on a car you’re looking to purchase

1. Orange Check engine light

2. Orange VSC or ABS light

3. Red Airbag light

The rest are not big issues
How to solve the red airbag light. It just came out in my civic 08

Did you collide with any object or did you perform any electrical works or did water spill on the front seats or the fuse box?

Afternoon bosses after replacing my plugs based on the cylinder misfiring code that was showing on my car, it now works fine not until yesterday when the car decided not to kick or turn on again. At first I thought it could be battery, we had it replaced but it wasn’t the issue, and it wasn’t my key fob too. There’s also no error code on scanner but the Rewire that came to check it was saying the kick starter is faulty.

Saying I have to replace, my first question is could that be what’s wrong with it and the next is if that’s what’s wrong, please who has an Honda spare part dealer that sells the item and like how much does it go for.

Responses from the Ogas in the house would be appreciated

It's possible it's the kick starter. As some can fail without warning.

The Rewire said from the way it was sounding it felt like the kickstarter is trying to force the engine but the engine isn’t responding, They tried to manually roll the engine and even used spanner and hammer, it still did not roll.

It was concluded that it might be a crankshaft.

I’m really confused at this point

Put car in Neutral and try to roll engine with a wrench/spanner, if it rolls fine, if it still doesn’t roll, remove belt and starter motor, roll again, and if it still doesn’t roll, Otilo!

Take it to your auto electrician. It’s either one of the window cable or engine. You’d need to replace it.
