".....It appears he is only providing POF" smh. Your statement shows how you like to be spoonfed. You even want us to give you advice after all someone has given you POF. When you get there and things are difficult at the initial stage, you'll look for who to blame.
Maybe you'll expect your uncle to connect you with work undecided

Please sir - own your story. Take responsibility and limit the expectations you have. If naija with the mortgage you have is good enough for you, please continue with it. Thank you
Somehow I try to discourage relying on others for POF. Anyone moving to Canada without having a support system will need the funds or even more than the requested amount. If you are getting help with POF also ensure that you are able to raise your own funds before travelling because arriving without money is the beginning of some people's struggle. And I'll explain why.
One reason people struggle with hardship in many developed countries is due to their inability to access credit. Ability to access credit makes it easier to buy a house, a car, pay for tuition, rent a house and raise money for many other things. The credit report/score is more valuable than account balance in many instances. People arriving without money likely to default on some of their financial obligations which gets recorded on their credit report. Once a credit score drops, it usually takes a long time to get it back up. Even when credits are extended to an individual the interest rates are lower for individuals with higher credit scores.

One thing i learned the hard way is, western countries work excellently in your favor if you are disciplined with money.

Unfortunately most Nigerians are indisciplined with money. When I lived in Lagos co-workers (including those senior to me ) were always looking for loans from colleagues. When I asked they said I’ll understand when I get married. Prior to moving to Nigeria I found married couples in England/Scotland to be financially stable doing things together as a couple.
When we move abroad and are handed the credit cards & line of credits many begin to spend like they’ve hit a jackpot and begin the paycheck to paycheck cycle

Yes Biometrics can be done in any country regardless.

Boss I need your help, I submitted my application early December with the hope of receiving the Biometric request sometime in January only for me receive it this week.
I am currently in Angola and there is no VAC here besides I am not yet eligible to even get a leave to travel out. I am really confused as to what to do, I also r read on the invite that I can raise webform to differ. Is it advisable to go that route stating I have been refused leave and attaching proof that I am in Angola and documents to back my claim? I don't know how it will affect the application

Are you sure about this? A quick google search revealed that there is a vfs global office in Luanda. Here is the address i found:
Portugal Visa Application Centre

Edificio Vernon Av. De Portugal n 18-20 1st Floor, Luanda, Angola

Since you expected BIL to be received by Jan, then you can still give your biometrics in before the 30 days elapse.
Note that you have 30 days from the day you received the BIL to get it done.

HELLO,

Please let me know what other documents can be used in place of bank statements for the work reference. can pay stubs and payslips from the company I worked for be used?

Has anyone been successful, without presenting salary payments from the bank?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to access my credentials with CES and instead of the usual 210CAD I am getting a bill of 330CAD because of the circled items in the cart. Is there a way I can exclude those or are they compulsory payments?

Abeg epp a friend ooo.

It's for Portugal/Belgium and other countries, I even visited Canada consulate in Luanda this morning and they said for biometrics you have to go to SA, DR Congo or Zimbabwe... Those are the closest, I have a single entry visa and waiting on work permit, if I even decide to leave on my own, I will need a visa to come back to my work in Angola

I meant receiving it in January ending and having the 30 days to do it... I just got to Angola last week and need at least 2 months before leaving .... Any idea on how using the webform to extend the date works?

Hello friends pls i need advice on the step to take,
I was expecting an email for the biometric but didn't know it was sent to their site. As at when I got to see the mail the time given me for the biometric has elapse. The letter was sent on 8 October and in it I was told to do the biometric on or before 8 November 2022. It was this December I saw the letter which 2 months has passed. I book for the biometric and i was granted a date and on getting to their office I was denied the process that my letter from IRCC has expired. I should write the reason I came after the appointed time frame. Which the reason is I lost my dad during that period. How do I get IRCC to send me another biometric letter?

Update
I have started my WES evaluation; applied to Unilag for the transcripts and paid the N25k. Fees for WES transcripts

While that's in the works; from what I have calculated on the CRS calculator; my only hope of scoring high is doing French
