There is something very strange about my parents.
If I stop talking with them, the more they respect me

But immediately I sit down and talk or gist with them, they begin to treat me like a small boy.

This has made me not to talk with them
It pains me but they respect me more
When I ignore them

The moment I join them in discussion, they begin to treat disrespect me.
Like shouting my name like a small boy for errands.

I want to completely ignore them for 7 months straight. What do you think?

And before you start preaching to me
Just know that not all parents are as happy and joyful as other parents.
Everybody carry their own baggage

If I don't talk with them
They respect me and give me my space.
If they need anything they come to my room and knock politely.

But when I start talking and gisting with them
Next thing they begin to bang at my door
Or shout my name like a small boy.

They are not your biological parents.

I will be 30 yrs next Month and yes my mum still shouts my name like i am a 10yrs old boy.... I torelate my parents and i think you should do the same no matter what they do to you.

Some day you will still expect your children to torelate you in old age!!!

I never valued my parents much until i lost my dad on 4th april 2022... Then i learnt to value the only parent I have left(my mum).
