Were is EFCC does it mean that they didn't investigate the formal governor Oyetola still wondering why we haven't heard from EFCC. Or does it mean that he belongs to the untouchable group. Just asking for a friend.

You re right, that was how APC was blaming Goodluck administration without doing anything... Thy run out of who to blame..
People that don't know history forget that the Adeleke once govern the state, this is where their wealth comes from..

Facts are sacred and I wandered if you have seen or read the letter sent to the Public by the former Finance Commissioner on this matter,on 15th this Month!
Fortunately, some of you are zealous about the Party involved and differs in opinions no matter, who is making alternative suggestions!
I'm not a party man,so get that well but the Commissioner has enumerated the Banks involved and you should visit the banks, including the Loan taken! Stop being judgemental!
It's left for Adeleke to show the Public that the former Commissioner Statistics were all subterfuge!
You can also help your new Governor to debunk the figures as false, since you want to fight for him, bearing in mind that Osun are knowledgeable enough to know the truth! Besides, the new Governor should state the Banks and account numbers involved,if it will not tell on him, when he will leave the government one day,in years to come, known that govt is add- continuum!
Have you not seen or heard, where incoming government make spurious allegations, just to paint the outgoing bad,in order to corner more resources for themselves and we have that a lot with Nigerian Politicians!

Simple matter, ex-governor should provide account numbers and account statements like Peter Obi did when some people tried to discredit the facts!

So, it is the accused that should be looking for evidence?

The onus is on Adeleke to prove.

“ Facts are sacred”. Absolutely. Just as you read in the news, we also have read in the news. Can you say that you have not made your judgement on the basis of what the commissioner said?

“…zealots about the party involved”? Certainly not. The truth remains that rather than move Nigeria forward in all fronts as promised twice in 2015 and 2019 by APC, Nigeria has clearly been set back with misgovernance. Do you want to dispute this clear fact?

I read the letter. Have you wondered why Oyetola refused to cooperate with Adeleke in setting up the transition committee, despite Adeleke’s repeated requests? Do you remember that the same went for Amaechi and Wike, when Amaechi refused to submit handover notes to Wike? It is the style of politicians who are termed “sore losers”. Have you quickly forgotten that Oyetola’s refusal made it difficult for Adeleke to have first hand information about records? One would simply wonder what he was concealing. Or rather, he’s waiting on the Supreme Court to return him to power.

We live in an age where records are kept in different ways. The same Adeleke who told us all that the state was indebted, indeed mentioned that salaries for the month of November had been set aside by Oyetola’s administration. When he says that Osun state is indebted to the tune of 407b, have you forgotten quickly that Aregbesola left some debt?

Oyetola’s refusal to cooperate with Adeleke made it hard for them all.

The facts are there for us all as Nigerians to see. Now let’s wait for more information over this matter.

you accused someone of borrowing and still asking the person to provide evidence that he never borrowed?

They've been asking Governor to provide evidence of his claims and he's not doing so.

He who alleges must prove is the game.

A huge name to call someone who didn't borrow a dime, and left 14 billion dollars in state government coffers. Politics has clouded our sense of judgement in this country. Honestly. Aregbesola can be called a thief, not Oyetola.

The joke is on you!!!

If Osun state House of Representatives is asking for Osun state detailed debt profile & reassuring investors how then to you expect an outsider like me to believe what whoever submitted??

Like I said, it’s a simple matter.
This is politics!
Essentially you need to defend yourself or carry the stain into the next election

Merry Christmas

Please, leave this matter to Osun People and let them solve it together, for they know the way out and let the Peter Obi matter to Anambra!
Did you read Mr Oyebanji' s letter( former Finance Commissioner) to the Public and details of how the amount left for the new Governor and the banks involved, stated therein?
Some of you just come and continue on this Forum without deep analysis on issues! There are many routes to the Market, please!

You don’t even understand what’s happening!
It’s NOT about the truth
It’s about winning the next election!

Maybe you now understand the game of politics!
Adeleke is presenting himself as “the one who inherited a failed state and now doing his best to rescue it!

Adeleke is essentially de-marketing Oyetola
Never vote that thief again.

Vote me, Adeleke the one who rescued Osun state.

Is Osun assembly saying they're not aware of the financial status of the state hence asking agencies to furnish them with information about the government they were part of when the new governor raised alarm?, I think loans are rectified by assembly before it's collected or they are just playing politics as usual.

Can you imagine this kind of rubbish. So the State Assembly doesn't even know. Then who was approving the loans.

I just don't understand the kind of democracy we practice in this country bit one thing is certain, it is not working....at least working to benefit the people... and that is whether they deserve it or not.

Now the police will be asking the theif to furnish him with the records of what he stole.... just sickening.

Far from that, Oyetola didn't borrow to finance his administration. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't because the state was long ago blacklisted before Oyetola came to power.
Ademola knew the governor that mortgaged the future of the state but doesn't know how to call him out due to some factors.

Because the dates of the loans preceeded Oyetola's administration era, simple. Like 95% of the loans were borrowed by Aregbe, the remaining 5% by Aregbe predecessors.
