No, they are all lying to him, every one knows Obi started his campaign too late when, almost every power broker has taken sides, that's why till date no valuable politician is with Obi, even amongst his own tribe.

ex-generals that can't draw governors, senators, HOR, and other elites are useless...

Obi is alone, his eyes would soon open like it did during PDP primaries..

Atiku is next, say no to rookies and drug barons

Go and read Obasanjo's book "My Watch" and see how corrupt your Atiku is.

Ex Generals, that contributed to some of the problems we still face as a country. What did they do when they were in power?
Re: 2023: Are The Ex-generals Actually Backing Obi? by EverGrand: 9:46am On Dec 18, 2022
Who would they rather back?

If I were IBB, why would I back Tinubu who showed my military regime shege because of June 12? Tell me.

If I were OBJ, would I back Tinubu who did not bow to my molten image of political domination? Never.

Tinubu is their nemesis, and they know a Tinubu presidency would further alienate them from the power broking in this nation.

Who wants to relinquish power?

In Obi they see another Jonathan, but God no go gree them.

We will only support obi. Not that he is more intelligent than the rest but because of equity and fairness. As a Yoruba man since it is the turn of SE to produce the next president and igbo think that he is their best candidate from their region then we will support him.

If I am to be Obi, I won't even bother myself for their endorsements because these old generals has absolutely no electoral value. Infact, it is a waste of precious time seeking their support.

Obi might need charismatic vibrant politicians to defect to LP or openly endorse him and stop seeking support of these pathetic old generals. The same set of greedy leaders that destroyed anything good about this country.

Did Obasanjo, TY Danjuma, Aliyu Gusau and I BB didn't back Atiku 2019? Does that make Atiku rule Nigeria? Even if they support Obi it doesn't mean Obi will win, Nigeria's next president is automatically Tinubu because CAN has already made it easy for him to win the election

Apart from OBJ is being swayed as he likes no Hausa ex general will support Igbo presidency! All of them worked together against the Igbo presidency since 1966. They know how to play their politics to thier advantages. The Obedients should not be deluded by visitation which is open to every candidate. I repeat the entire north will not vote Obi.

You are correct, the selfish clown is on his own like Bobby Brown.
Obi already had Christian votes in the bag. He also has a lot of Muslim votes. He has better chances than Atiku and tinubu whether we admit this fact or not. Tinubu can only boast of some states in the south west but even Lagos isn't sure for him. If this election is free and fair, Obi will win. I hope he wins though

Re: 2023: Are The Ex-generals Actually Backing Obi? by Jman06(m): 11:05am On Dec 18, 2022
The truth remains that Obi is the most qualified and suitable for that position compared to the other two old men.

If Tinubu wins, another set of cabals will emerge whose only interests will be to loot the nation's resources. It will be worse than Buhari's government because despite all the bad eggs in Buhari's government, he still scores higher in terms of modesty and aversion to corruption. Same cannot be said about Tinubu.

Health wise, Tinubu would spend more time and resources attending to his health than Buhari did. From every indication, the man is very sick and being a known drug user, one should expect a worse health condition at this age compared to Buhari who wasn't known for drug addiction. Those who understand the wear and tear effects of drugs should know what I mean. I don't wish him dead, but we might have a repeat of the Yar'adua scenario sooner than later.

Atiku on his part should be a second option compared to Obi. At least, he is healthy and much more sound compared to Tinubu. Besides, he has a sound mind as his running mate. Obi is preferable to him in age, economic management acumen and corruption perception index.
