Why are these people bragging with IGR borrowing massively? Or they borrow and pay the money into IGR account then withdrawn it again and be deceiving themselves? 5 Likes 1 Share

Ogbuefi2020: They shout Lagos everyday not knowing their landlord is embezzling all that could have transformed Lagos from the glorified slum that it is now, to a mega city. A one-time capital of Nigeria, and home to one of the notable seaports and business Hqs since 1960, for that matter. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

aspher:The growth of Lagos was due to the yorubas living in Lagos during the colonial era. The reason Lagos has alot of slum is because of the influx of people from other region. Lagos is a swampy state yet people will buy canal and sandfill them with rubbish! Na by force to build house 4 Lagos. Next they'll start blaming government for bad road. Road dey na you go build house 4 eyin OSA. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Tax, Borrow and spend! That's all they do in Lagos state. Tinubu and co have turned the state into a Mafiadom! Unfortunately, tribal politics has blinded the eyes of those who should have been at the forefront confronting the Tinubu brigade responsible for this.. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

aspher: When you see Tinubus’ minions on here hating on Igbos’ and wanting to covet Lagos as their personal inheritance…under the guise of ‘protecting Yoruba interests’, just know keeping control of Lagos state gov’t finances has a lot to do with it! This is why they act and argue in a certain way….anything to keep others from having any kind of leverage in the governance of the state! 5 Likes 1 Share |

No one can go to any where and build without the permit of the govt. Take it or leave it,the govt officials are part of the problem and not the other way round. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

ibechris:We both know how government officials are corrupt in Nigeria. Even we ourselves are corrupt. You're building house in the wrong place but you bribe government officials just to have your house erected. I agree government officials are part of the problem. What I'm just saying is, those day when lesser non-indigene were in Lagos things were managed better. So people should stop blaming government for their selfish and corrupt act. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Ogbuefi2020:No lagosian lived in swamp before and during colonial era. Many yorubas were already in Lagos during the slave trade era. Alaba market built on swamp is not a Yoruba dominated market. Villages don't mean swamp and those villages are today dry land cities. 1 Like 1 Share |
