His best years in europe was from 2009-2014 in the colors of Monaco and dynamo Kiev

He left for anzhi in the Russian league then in 2015 summer if am correct and already at Ukraine had injury issues that made his club to cash out by selling him to the money bags of Russian league then

Don’t jump to keshi’s defense because prior to 2013 afcon and 2014 World Cup haruna was the best AM we can boast of in main stream european leagues then. Another who was doing well prior to that year’s World Cup was abduljaleel ajagun in the Greek league with panathiniakos

I agree with you. Haruna, Ajagun, Sone Aluko, Uche Kalu, Ik Kalu, Raheem Lawal were questionable omissions by Keshi, he didn't even invite them. Also Ideye was surprisingly dropped. Haruna had lost form by the time Oliseh called, everything na time, it's like saying imagine if Onazi wasn't invited for the 2014 WC and we judge him based on 2018, when it was obvious baba don finish.

I pray it goes through for the following:
1) will give us more options in the defense
2) will improve the life of Olisa Ndah and hopefully his nuclear and extended families
3) add to our economy as at least im go build house or houses which during construction will feed many mouths.
4) perhaps Olisah will do like Musa, Ighalo, Oshoala and Nwakali and engage in charitable givings and community development.

In general to do significant charity works you will need to have a good wage.

How will Nwakali who is earning well below €3k a week gross before tax begin to do charity work.❓

It was reported that he made a hooge donation to the soccer academy that trained him at some point. I want to believe that was true, he may not have been able to sustain it, that's another matter. Now significance of the charity work could be deemed relative. At all at all na im no good as my people dey take talk am. But one thing is certain tou never one what the beneficiary of just one soccer boot could become in the future.

Happy Birthday To Victor Osimhen: Nigeria's Most Valuable player in World Football today.

Undoubtedly he is also among the most complete strikers/CFs on the planet and he isn't even in his prime yet.

More years of conquests and Greatness, Victor.

The new abridged format of the NPFL...

Season kicks off January 8th..
Top three teams in each group will qualify for the super 6 which would determine the overall winner.
Winner of the league get a prize money of #100m
Each team gets #10m before the league commences
Games to be televised on NTA...

Thoughts?

The fact that he was washed up barely a year after being snubbed by Keshi really speak volume of his quality.. I'm sure it was his wonderful form at his club that made Oliseh recall him for that Tanzania game and then yank him off in the first half... I can make a case for the likes of Aluko and Ajagun but not Haruna . He is one of the players our pre-MRI under 17 sets produced that failed to live up to the hype for obvious reasons...

the uncapped ones I mentioned in my list if they reach out to the nff for a change of allegiance to us they will be welcomed with open arms with starting shirts in the super eagles so stop capping

In the current super eagles set aside ajayi and bassey I don’t see any that will dislodge uduokhai and adarabioyo in the team

So stop being emotional and face fact cheesy

The Interim Management Company (IMC) claim to have gotten sponsorship deals for the league (as per what I read online)... Let's hope it's really true...
If this format succeeds, we might just adopt it going forward.. Although I would prefer an improvised version where we have a north and south or east and west conference.. to reduce the distance teams have to travel for games...

Getting more sponsorship deals will help increase the prize money...
I read online that the Egyptian league doesn't give prize money to winners of the league, instead they share the revenue from TV rights... And it's usually a lot of money cus their games are widely televised... We need to get there ..
