Bolanle Raheem: Photo Of Officer Drambi Vandi In Court As He's Charged For Murder

ASP Drambi Vandi accused of shooting pregnant lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, appeared before the Yaba Magistrate court in Lagos state this morning, December 30.

The state Attorney-General, Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN, filed a one-count charge against Vandi for the murder of Mrs Bolanle Raheem.

The charge sheet reads;

“That you ASP Drambi Vandi on the 25th day of December 2022, at Ajah Road, along the Lekki Expressway, Lagos, unlawfully killed one Omobolanle Raheem by shooting the deceased in the chest contrary to Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2015.”

The state appeared before the court for an order to remand the suspect in line with Section 264 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law of Lagos, 2015.

The Magistrate, Ms Adeola Olatunbosun, granted the order and asked that the suspect be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre. She ordered that the case file be duplicated and sent to the Director of Public Prosecution, Dr. Jide Martins for legal advice.

She then adjourned the case to January 30, 2023 to await legal advice.

Good one.. at least one of the madmen in black carrying gun is going down.. more to follow. Its time for the government start conducting cognitive testing for their officers. Cos the rate at which these police officers behave majorly on our roads is as if they are mentally imbalance or impaired. They need to be checked mentally, physically, and psychologically.

Why will such idiot be tried? They should just deliver a bullet to his head and end it all. Why waste the taxpayers money?

That Ajiwe police station should be investigated. It seems that police station is filled with only bad eggs. They constantly terrorize those in Ajah axis with their illegal roadblocks etc.

May justice be served in this case. I believe it's God who wants it that the ASP be nabbed and punished for all atrocities he had perpetuated during his career in the Police Force. There is an allegation that he was the Constable that killed a Custom Officer in the early '90's in Niger state and went scott free (unperturbed). May karma hold him down this time around!. Just look at his countenance; no remorse whatsoever.
The coincidence of the victim being a lawyer and invariably putting the NBA in perspective is divine. May this killer cop find no mercy in this world and in the next.
