So I use to work on the island until I decided to leave because of the working condition...... So on the 24th, I left work to go back to mainland, which is my main residence... Well I decided to take a hair cut in one of the barbing saloon in Ikoyi..

On a Norms, na 500 barber dey charge me for mainland, so I budgeted at least 1k for the hair cut since it is Ikoyi na.... Well, I entered the saloon and saw a few people having their hair cut, and some were eating meat pie with wine.. I almost mistake the place for a cafeteria actually grin grin grin grin.

So one of the attendants attended to me and offered me a seat, so he explained to me that I will have to wait so that they can attend to others and I said no problem. Mehn, the shop was chilling, I never enter such place for my life, I don't know the kind of AC dey are using. After 2 minutes, naso person bring me hot meat pie plus wine served in a tray shocked shocked, at first I was so happy mehn cheesy cheesy but sumtin just struck my mind, which kind barber shop be this wey dey serve snacks for customers. I was beginning to feel somehow and unsafe actually... So many thoughts in my head; are these people kidnappers or ritualist

Then I called the attendant back dt I have a friend who is also coming to barb but doesn't know the shop. So I told him that I want to go get him make he no go lost, then I pretended to be on a call and I went out...

Alo lami lami lan ri, Eni kan kiri eyin re (you can only see the departure of a waterfly, you will never see them come back again)

grin grin grin I walked as fast as I could and never returned there again.

Mind you, I didn't bother to ask about the price for haircut... grin grin grin grin grin grin
Firstly there is nothing to gain when telling lies because for health reasons food ain't allowed in barbing saloon so places like ikoyi knows better.
Secondly within my views with your error filled write up and comments you make, you don't work in ikoyi don't know why you just decide to come online to lie. Try get a job because it's only idleness that causes all this.
I won't reply mention, Peace wink

You probably missed an opportunity to hang out with big boys. What if someone wanted to give everyone a treat? I don’t want to boast by letting you know that I have done that a couple of times but I have also seen where stuff like that was done. You fall my hand bro! grin

There are places where eating shouldn't be allowed and I think a barbing salon is one of them.
You would have tiny bits of hair flying around that could easily contaminate your food.

Wanted to ask this. How can one eat in a barbing salon?

That is why me I like to ask questions very well o. There was a day I wanted to have a haircut, so I just entered one random barbershop. The place was well-set, about three big flatscreen TVs, ac, and all. They even had a secretary sef who was smartly dressed, and one guy to open door and welcome customers. Everywhere looked corporate.

It was the guy stationed at the door that I first began to question before he referred me to the secretary who then showed me the price list.

My barber cuts my hair and carves my beard for 700 naira home service. But this guys wanted to #1500.

Imagine I didn't ask questions.

One of my guy just finished setting up his unisex saloon and guess what, the 4 mirrors together cost 2.2m, yes you read it right 600k each. So guess how much a hair cut will cost in such place. Each chair he ordered...... Infact eh some people are just doing too much.

I entered a restaurant and i notice the top notch interior, I said to myself highest beer go cost N1k. Omo I ask for the price of beer 2k. Bottle water 1k. Na I clear the waiter say if na she, if she go buy beer 2k. These expensive restaurants always use beautiful girls as waiters just to sway men to pay.
