I have never see a righteous police since I have been in this country for close to 40 years now, I have promised myself to place the first righteous police on life salary, it may not by a big pay but I will pay him reasonable money monthly. It appears that Nigeria police is even the most corrupt group in the whole world.

So we were preparing for inter-house sports competition in my secondary school and I was part of the marching squad for my house, I came home and I started practicing.

I swear to God, my Grandmother started crying. She made me swore that I will never become a Policeman. She said she didn't make that pact with God. And I have to swear to her. I had to.

She went ahead to tell my mum Incase I thought she wasn't serious. It was a serious case.

As old as she was then, she knew something was structurally wrong with the Nigeria Police force.

Nigerians are terrible. I don laugh tire.

But the problems with the police were inevitable. The law doesn't allow them to unionize - so who fights for them? Who safeguards their rights and welfare? The PSC?

This is the minefield that the advocates for state police must avoid - if state police becomes a reality (as it should) in Nigeria then policemen must legally be allowed to unionize. If not...

In case you didn't know, EFCC is a branch of the Nigerian Police.. And EFCC jobs aren't bad at all

Besides, there are many cushy Police Job positions reserved for the privileged.. Saw a very young Police Officer driving a Maserati in Abuja.. Guy couldn't have been more than 25..i shock
