But when IBB banned all old generation politicians just to disqualify Yar'adua, Yar'adua put Atiku forward to run for President.
Prior to this time, Tinubu had jettisoned his Senate Presidential ambition to pave way for a Southern President.

But it's known that you from the SW or North will not accept resource control for regions, but you want regional government. How do you think regional government without resource control is possible?

Regional government with resource control is how multi ethnic countries live in peace. But in Nigeria, every region clutches tight to revenues from oli and gas deposits in the Niger Delta since 1960, while the proceeds from mineral resources like gold, etc, in the northern region are not brought to the central government to be shared by the states.

FYI, the SW delegation sided the northern delegates to object to increase in the percentage of derivation asked for by SS and SE delegates during OBJ's National Political Reforms Conference. That objection led to the inconclusive end of the Reforms Conference.
