Yes you will only be able to book an appointment once this initial mail comes, Meanwhile check the application again carefully to ensure there is no error in the e-mail address, did you refill your ds-160 with a new reference code with which you completed this application?, Have you checked your spam mail? Other elders please weigh in

I may be wrong but that person made up one story to advertise his or her services on this forum baited people and they fell flat. A few weeks ago fight still erupted between some people who met themselves here and sold date to themselves

No luck still . I've also sent series of note thru the feedback but all thier response isn't helping either. I honestly do not know what other step to take.

Coming to give feedback: After dissociating the other accounts from the primary account, the homepage was showing 3 family members instead of zero. So I used the chat option to contact cgi and they mentioned that is the reason a date is not being approved. They escalated the issue and it was resolved in about 3days. I got a date yesterday and will be submitting next week. So far the other applications have been approved. For some reason, an official at DHL abuja mentioned you need to make an appointment to pick your passport, that it is a new directive as at today. I have not seen any notification on the website and the collection email doesn’t mention such. I plan to be there later in the week.

Uwc. Cos a lot of agents are on NL disguising to be visa applicants and hiding under several monikers. Once he/she tells you an agent assisted him/her secure a date, the same person but with a different moniker would attest to it and before you know it just to lure unsuspecting applicants, you'd send a DM and they'd share the agent's ( their number) with you.

Just do it yourself. American Consulate warned on this and it'd because they know many had fallen victim already. If it's only money that is being parted with, it's much better than being handed a life ban.

Hi, I was in the same situation. You will need to create individual profiles for each of your kids. There are two options to do this:
1. Doing it yourself: create an account for the kids, when you get to the profile page, after filling out the passport details and application id, you will get a prompt once you click on the submit button informing you that an account with similar details exist. You will be prompted to have the information moved over, if you agree, you will need to upload the kid’s passport datapage and submit. You will get an email within 24-48hrs with a new default password to access the account.

2. Option 2 - Have a live chat with the CGI agent. This can be a bit time consuming.

Finally, you will need all individuals on your primary account removed before you can get a IW date approval. This was my situation.
