When I was in Naija, I avoided a particular priest (he was elderly) like plague during confession. If I do my calculations for line and see say na him side I dey go, I go just offer my spot because the guy penance no be here.

Pesin go dey say penance for "mmehie" for more than 1 hour My mama go dey look me with one eye after like say na serious sin pesin commit sef.

This is why I like the priests here in the States.

Try am here and na only the priest go celebrate mass by himself, at least for my side. Na for here I confirm my long suspicion say suffering dey also affect religion. Penance no dey pass 3 Hail Mary Mass for here dey very solemn (calm) which is the way I like my mass.

In all the parishes I have been to across the country, I have observed they all have a clock that faces the priest while he is on the altar; oyinbo no get time oh! If you waste their time, they will not even wait for final blessing, they will leave you and your mass.

Mass no dey even reach 50 minutes. There is only 1 collection and if there is a need for a second, it voluntary after mass, no one passes collection bowl for the 2nd collection.
