Samueltemi337:Okay okay, I grab ur point now.. But right now, I will definitely pick Patricia George as Nigeria best Left Back though she hasn’t gotten that game time with Nigeria to show the World.. As per from her College to Club performance she’s no.1 |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Samueltemi337(m): 8:30pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
isan:Patricia George is a forward too... LB isn't her main position How many matches have you seen her play LB that made you come to this conclusion? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:31pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
Again George is more Versatile as she plays as a Left Back or Left Winger and as a Right Back or Right Winger.. I remember before Signing for BVB Cloppenburg in Germany she played 5 positions ( LB, RB, LW, RW, CF) for Chicago Red stars Reserve in the WPL in the US.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:33pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
Samueltemi337:Patricia George best position is the Fullback, Left or Right, She said that herself.. She plays as a Winger in most occasions because she loves going forward and running with the ball.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:36pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
Samueltemi337:Many Many, Infact over 70% of her football career have been as a Fullback.. At SC Sand she literally played LB, RB, LW…. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Samueltemi337(m): 8:37pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
Deltamani:Okay... thought she was a centre forward |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 8:48pm On Jan 12, 2023 |
Samueltemi337:Not at all, She’s just versatile, her Original position is the Outside Back.. but can play anywhere on the flank either in defense or attack.. see a short clip where she played almost literally all the positions on the flank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0_yF8zD3LA |

Deltamani:Definitely not close to being a game of the season but big win for Abia Angels on the road I personally like coach Ann because she brings her own swag to the league and she is not just shouting Shoot and Pass on the sidelines unlike 90% of the other coaches. |

BascoVanVeli:Hey Basco I saw a snippet on twitter yesterday of a match between Delta Queens and Rivers Angels where 2 goals were scandalously disallowed. The second goal was even more ridiculous, any idea what happened in that game? |

OFFICIAL: Uganda forward Fauzia Najjemba has signed for Russia Premier League side Dynamo Moscow on a three-year contract. Najjemba, 19, arrives the Russian club from Kazakhstan side BIIK Shymkent, for record transfer fee for an East African women's player. In 2022, Najjemba won both Kazakhstan league and cup titles, as well as playing in both UEFA Champions League and Africa Women's Cup of Nations. She becomes the fifth African in the Russian top tier, after Nigeria duo Francisca Ordega and Chinonyerem Macleans and Cameroon duo Aboudi Onguene and Tatiana Ewodo.

So, I have often wondered... Why does any national team need a full time coach, when the activity engagement for a national team is less than 5 months in a year? Nigeria has assistant coaches on our national team, who do absolutely nothing but collect an annual paycheck. They should be the ones doing all the ground work, including scouting on the domestic / international front, and making player recommendations to the coach. The coach will organize player camps and make final selections and implement strategy. That is what Randy is doing (including arranging friendlies). I see absolutely nothing wrong with the NFF's approach, especially since they are cash strapped and the Nigerian economy is in shambles. lovewins: |
