Ask them what their minimum balance is. The $100 could just be their account opening balance.

You go withdraw your $80 once the account has been opened cheesy

Well, I have a DOM account with them already so I was only given a debit card application form.

My younger brother doesn't bank with them but needed a similar card. He was told to open a DOM account first. He gave them his ID, Passport and 2 referees. My wife and I referenced him.

You need to deposit $20. The issuance fee is $10 I think.

But it's annoying having to buy USD at 740 outside honestly. It's better than being stranded anyway.

Please are you saying you will have to buy dollar outside the bank at the back market rate and go into the bank to deposit the 'dollar cash' for your international transactions? Omo..

In AliExpress, all countries are buying from them via their bank card, but Nigeria blocked all theirs and they are happy, e no go better for our leaders

Omo ehn, if you know how many opportunities I’ve lost due to bank cards no working.
Although there are other means of getting things done, but using naija cards is the best cos of good rate .

You see CBN ehn. They are the most useless government organisation in this country. Today they roll out one new policy, next tomorrow, another one, next week, another one. Now I think they have banned most Nigerian cards from performing international transactions online. How else am I meant to pay for goods or services online? Like they will ban something and not even provide an alternative for someone. What of those who have legitimate business transactions to perform nko? Why must it be so difficult living and surviving in this God forsaken country like this? They make everything so difficult for us.

I was at my bank yesterday to lay the same complaint and it was revealed tht all bank crds no lonher work for online transactions, whether verve or visa. They said you now need a dollar card to transact online. New CBN policy.

But he said his dollar card didn't work

I had to get a Visa Gold card at FirstBank. It's a dollar card account.

I buy dollar from Aboki and credit the card whenever I have web transactions to make e.g YT music, web hosting, Facebook Ads, Playstore APPS, etc.

If una sabi any Bank wey fit charge me from my Naira savings account, make una let us know. Na online business we take dey feed our family oo
