We were making the worst decisions everywhere. The major thing arsenal had over us was that they could play with intensity and energy for the whole 90 minutes. We can't even last for 30 minutes. Then we had a short one in the midfield without the ball. Just too many things to take care of

But ETH has his own demons to settle. Eriksen should not be completing 90 minutes here. Infact he should come in around that 70 minutes. He took out Antony and brought in Fred, when he should have brought in Garnacho. Because of that Zinchenko became a +1 in the midfield and attack.

We'll make top 4 but this team need to be able to match their opponents work rate and even do better. We need technical midfielders, at least 2

I dont think you should get too down about the defeat. I hate losing to Arsenal but this one no pain me like previous years.

The squad was on their knees by the hour mark. Just dont have the legs or the quality of squad to handle City, Palace and Arsenal in 8 days.

Overall I thought we did ok for the first hour. I just felt we carried Antony who was a minus for us again. Shaw got tortured and AWB had his usual lapses in positioning. Midfield had no legs. McTom,Eriksen and Bruno just isnt going to cut it away at the Emirates. Wout was ok but not a threat in anyway. I dont think we're a team that can play to his strengths but this is were we are.

We lost to a better team. The understanding in that Arsenal team is next level. Their spacing. The fact that every single player including the GK is technically proficient with the ball. Every single player is defensively responsible.

Apart from being inferior in terms of spacing, understanding, and technical players, our team has a short one in possession in McTom and a short one out of possession in Eriksen.

Then we have one dead wing (AWB and Poco).

In a game of such intensity and pressure, you're trusting your defensive midfield duties with two left footed DWARFS, with one of them notoriously lacking composure and is prone to lunging into tackles senselessly?

It's so simple. They played us out the park. They were technically and more importantly - PHYSICALLY superior. We had a short one in defence, short one (or two) in midfield, and short one in attack. They had us on the ropes all game, maybe Cas would've made a difference, we would never know.
I don't understand the faux anger here like we should've won Arsenal. A draw would've been unfair to them.

Arteta has perfected his team, they're so well-drilled and coordinated. I now understand why it was easy for SAF to get wins out of games like this, it's because even if his team was technically inferior, his players always understood their roles and were efficient in carrying tasks out. This current team lacks efficiency in some areas. We can only hope with more transfers, we get to fix things and be able to go toe-to-toe with the top teams. Make we just gbà fún ọgá this time and move on.

I hope we go on a decent winning run again. Apart from the fixtures congestion, out February games are winnable and hopefully we'd see games out and not draw/lose at the 90th minute again. That's something the entire team should work on, make é no become recurring theme.
