Talawaka: But it's fact that: "Northern Nigeria will continue to control the government no matter who becomes the president because they (North) created a fraudulent constitution and population." The lopsided political structure of 20 states in the old Northern region but a meagre number of 17 states in the two old southern regions as created by northern military dictators, guarantees the north to control Nigeria irrespective of who is the president of Nigeria. Since the southern politicians have no intelligence to tell north that land mass or population figures is never used as criterion to proliferate too many new federating units like states in one area with larger land mass in a country formed by diverse regions. There should have been more number of states in the old two southern regions than in the old one northern region. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I thought they said Afonjas are educated people, you didn't read where it says a Yoruba man ( former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Prof. Bola Akinterinwa) was the one that attributed the statement to Soyinka. -Ok. Let me go and get my dictionary. Some quotes from Prof dey inside. -But in my opinion, Dissolution remains The Solution, but I guess most Nigerians prefer to run in circles or too cowardly to do the needful, despite their inherent hate for others within the British experiment. |

Okay Sir, you did not say that. We apologize. The reality based on historical facts is, there has never been an administration, since 1960, in Nigeria, that the north has not been President or Vice, Prime Minister/Premier. Even now in 2023, it is happening again. Will Nigeria collapse, if a northerner is not in Aso Rock either as number 1 or 2? Is there a curse that they for once, should not be in power or the opposition. |

dat9jaguy: I hope Iam not inclusive in the mass madness. But Soyinka, and Nigerians et al have suddenly become lily livered before the northern hegemony as typified by Buhari government. No one dare complain, no one dare critize and no one dare protest! Every one is living under a canopy of palpable fear. Buhari government has a tight hold of bondage around us. His jujuman must be highly strong. 1 Like |

Talawaka:Nigerias born in 40s to 50s and those born after with the knowledge of Nigeria will easily agree to the fact the North is dominating Nigeria and will u see why it will be difficult for the region to hand over to the IGBOS now. Those born after 1989 may think all is well in the country till today. Whoever goes back to our history will know that Igbo presidency is reakisable with strategies but it is a mirage now! |
