Na why them dey sell 3 big ones 100 naira na. . If you compare the price to the price of other fishes, you will know Herring is not really it. I personally dislike the fish.

I don't know what is the "imoyo" but I have tried it with hot pepper such as Cameron pepper still doesn't come out good.

Imoyo is a spicy fish stew....... popularly prepare by lagosians....use freshly caught
fish or crabs........
After cleaning the Tilapia, soak it in a salted water for some minutes . When you are ready to add it to the stew, just bring it out from the salted water and add it to the stew .
Use fresh scotch bonnet ( as many you can tolerate) tatashe( red bell pepper and tomatoes ( use less tomatoes )
