Between $447- $478. Let just assume $500 it will not exceed it. I cancelled my application twice and this is what I paid on each application Beautynm1: |

You said you have opening balance of 6m, and your salary is 822k? If you multiply 822,000 monthly salary by 6 months = 4,932,000 You said your spend 150k as your monthly expenses, and if multiply it by 6 it would give you 900,000k i.e you spend 900k for 6month. You will subtract 900k from your 6 month salary of 4,932,000 = 4,032,000 as your monthly disposable Your closing balance should be = 10,032,00 i.e Opening balance of 6m + 4,032,000 monthly disposable =10,032,000 I will advise you to start your account allover for the next 6 month before you reapply, write a cover letter to explain changes in your employment and address your refusal letter. AbelPre: Stop declaring and be truthful. It wasn't written anywhere the money you should spend as monthly expenses. Your financial statement was used against you because it doesn't add up to what you declared. Why are you crying when you have a good sum of money in your account? Is the trip that significant?! 1 Like |

AskGod07: A very avoidable error.. “the ECO doesn’t check withdrawals”, just shows how daft most agents are. As long as you supplied how much monthly expenditure you make, they always check to verify. It is based on the information you provide they use to access your application. Sometimes, I feel less information, but properly presented, speaks volume. Also, having a huge opening balance is not the Koko, they check your inflow and outflow and see if it corresponds with your opening balance.. there has to be a rhythm. |

AbelPre: Now your next application has to be properly aligned, or else, they will still deny you. So make sure whatever information you provide corresponds with whatever info you provided in the previous application. |

Start to build a new bank account for the next 6 to 7 month, try to have a stipulated amount as your monthly expenses and then make sure no other money enter your account except you salary. AbelPre: 1 Like |

Visa Alert!!! Standard Visitors Visa ( 2years ) Self Service TLS Ikeja Date of Biometrics : 13th January 2023 Collection email : 26th January 2023 I have been visiting the UK for over a decade. I had an expired 5years visa which I tried to renew last year December. The visa application was denied by the ECO due to unexplained high debit transactions that exceeded my specified monthly expenses. I was wondering why the ECO did not consider that I am a self employed businessman and such personal account will definitely have high debits and inflows due to numerous business transactions. In the previous application, I didn't give proper explanations regarding the huge transactions on my account but I provided invoices and receipts with other proof of inflows and source of deposits made into my account. However, after realizing the mistakes I made, I reapplied in January 2023 and I made necessary corrections with a detailed explanation addressing the ECO's concern. I added more proof of inflows and clarified the reasons for the high debits. I have discovered that reapplying after a refusal doesn't automatically mean that the next application will be refused again, though chances of another refusal is very high. The reasons for the previous refusal should be properly addressed with proofs. If it was financial reasons, improve on your finances and give explanations with proofs, if it was family ties, ensure you prove stronger family ties in your reapplication or make sure your circumstance has changed before reapplying. In all, I am glad that my second renewal attempt was approved! 5 Likes |

AbelPre: @ bolded did you submit SOA for this second account? Your situation is a bit confusing because, from what you are saying, you have multiple accounts and were withdrawing or sending money across to your other accounts. Try and use the description column next time on your bank app to explain the purpose of the transaction. Also, you have been advised to be on the bench to build your account. Stick to your story if you declared one SOA in your last application. Except you want to be writing a cover letter to blame an agent, which doesn't make sense, assuming you submitted one account and it wasn't your first application. |

AbelPre: You shouldn’t have used an agent to start with. After your first refusal, if you had come on here, you could’ve gotten advice that will be useful towards your next application, and surely you could get your visa 1 Like |

AbelPre: I just took my time to read this refusal note now. You could’ve gotten your visa quite alright, but the only issue was that the ECO sensed a foul play on your end. Now, Imagine having an opening balance of 6 million, then subsequently, over the the space of 6 months (in which you receive a monthly earning of 822k, which the ECO also took note of), your end balance still remains at slightly over the opening balance. No matter how you spend, your end balance is supposed to be somewhere within the margin of 8 million or thereabout, but the ECO is still seeing about 6.8 million without no adequate explanation as to why it is so. Even I myself would agree with the ECO that the money will not be readily available for your use. It just seemed like you borrow the supposed money for salary, and you quickly return it back, but still kept a little leftover so as to confuse the ECO. The ECO spotted this game because it didn’t just occur once or twice, but all through the 6 months time frame. The most you could’ve done was to give a proper explanation as to why that happened, alongside proof. It’s just like those fake water fountains where the water just keeps recycling, the water neither overflows nor dries up, but if you fetch water from that fountain, the water will finish, which therefore implies that there was no water readily available for use, but just a mirage. This was how the ECO understood your account statement, and hence issued you a refusal. It just means you had fake funds in your account just for account boosting. 3 Likes |

Can a first timer tourist arrived at Heathrow airport can use transportation options or only taxi ? Train, subway and bus is very affordable Or is it compulsory to use a taxis or bolt? Reason is that I wanted to know if I can make a use of train, bus or subway so I can have a budget for that in my cover letter. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrmoney90: 8:11pm On Jan 27, 2023 |
AbelPre: And that’s where you got things all wrong. Trust me, no matter what evidence you provide, the ECO only needs just one loophole to refuse your application, and it was in your power to close that loophole. So all of a sudden, just within the period prior to your visa application you now have so much issues to resolve financially, which of course demanded that you use up your entire salary whenever you get paid for a period of 6 months right? Common, let’s apply logic here, that doesn’t make any sense. It still boils down to cash lodgment. If you hadn’t made this application, the only advise I would’ve given to you would’ve been to split your opening balance into two parts (let’s say 3 million each, one part in your salary account and the other in your savings account), that way, your salary account will not get shaken, and all those heavy withdrawals could’ve been made on the savings account without you mentioning the savings account in your application. Imagine 822k multiplied by 6, will equal to 4.9 million, which will in turn leave your salary account at a closing balance of 7 million, considering the fact that you spend 150k on monthly expenses. Now this makes sense and will convince any ECO to see that the money grew gradually. And even your 150k expenditure has to reflect in your account. No matter how you withdraw for that month, it should boil down to that 150k when calculated. And if by chance, you happen to spend more than 150k on a particular month, then you should explain why in a cover letter. 1 Like |
