If u can admit he is a baller at Udinese with 2 goals in 40 appearances over 2 seasons, how do u explain calling him a wasteman in England U act like he came to Italy and started leading the league in scoring.

TheSuperNerd:

Omo Dan. That was 2016 and most of them, strongly especially the C.AN.E have all gone their separate ways. Only Nwobodo is kicking it at a higher level so far.

Obinna Nwobodo, N in CANE is still balling in the MLS for FC Cincinnati at age 26. Before that he was balling out in the Turkish Super Lig. We all know that right? Good.

I also was still getting notifications on my players radar system, last year, whenever Godwin Aguda, A in CANE bags goals for Falkenbergs in Sweden's third tier. He and the club missed out narrowly on promotion to the 2nd tier so unless he is moving, they are prepping up for the 2023 season.

Chisom Egbuchalam, E in CANE is now in China balling.

Bobby Clement, C in CANE is now based in Lebanon still actively playing.

And hey BascoVanVeli, you said the CANE weren't young except for Nwobodo.

Okay, you realise this was 2016 right? 😁

Nwobodo was 20 in 2016. Chisom was 24 in 2016. We both agree these two were young. No questions.

Shockingly, and I don't wanna be a spoil sport coz you and I know this would raise age issues dust, Bobby Clement is claimed to have been 18 in 2016. Records say he started out his youth career with Shooting Stars before joining Heartland in 2014. Abeg na dem sabi.

Bobby Clement was also a member of the U20 Flying between 2016-2017. Probably as a fringe.

Godwin Aguda was by his stated age, 19, at the time in 2016. He still features in Sweden for Falkenbergs.

Now, I don't wanna get into the age talks of Clement & Aguda coz yeah, agreeing with it would not make your point stand but it would also bring up the age matter again. Something I desperately try to avoid because I know we have age cheats but we also have genuine youngsters. Walking this line to not mix them up is something I try to do and without muddying up anything.

I ain't even talking about Nwobodo and Chisom because obviously these guys were their stated ages at the time especially knowing that Nwobodo would be 27 this year and Chisom would be 31.

But as for those two... well... up to you to do what you want with you with respect to your point on "young". Abeg, I no dey. πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸƒπŸƒπŸƒπŸƒ

Chisom said out his mouth that he was 27 then. He said people told him to change it but he wanted to be truthful. Bobby was already a known trouble maker before he joined Enugu so he definitely was not 18 at that time but well I could be wrong. Honestly my hand no dey this issue again either grin

When we both realise we are entering highly sensitive grounds on issues we no wan dwell on AT ALL 🀣🀣 on a normal. Best to just call it a day at this point, My good man. It's been a pleasure. 😁 grin

On Edidiong, maybe not anything special but at least their Scouting team spotted and recruited him from his former side.

Same thing they did with Olamilekan Adams who is currently in the Flying Eagles camp and doing quite well. They got him from Lobi stars.

But the special thing Remo is doing is not about recruiting Edidiong. It is rather about the structure they have put in place to enable them groom and train teen talents, bring them through the youth development process with very decent footballing education and promote some to the first team with some others making it out to Europe as well. That they are doing this effectively well as an NPFL Side is something to admire.

That in addition to their recruitment drive to keep bringing in some of the best low budget young talents around for their first team to sustain their competitive level on the local front is commendable.

On one hand, they stay competitive but on the other hand, they cam afford to see their best young talents who came through the academy leave for Europe.

BascoVanVeli:

This was my quote. The fact is that in this very situation Remo didn't do anything special.

There is nobody more critical of the Akwa United management than me so the jealous angle is not reality.

Cc TheGoodJoe. Recall when I name dropped Malo Gusto, the RB at Lyon as another guy who can potentially do what Rico Lewis does.

Well Chelsea has just signed him. He will join in the summer. We would see Lewis and Gusto in the EPL. Two different RB Hybrids.

Another name of this RB Hybrid class is Ivan Fresneda of Valladolid. Arsenal are linked to him. Keep an eye out too.

But what you must know is Rico Lewis still leads the way in this new class of RB Hybrids.

TheSuperNerd:
The Rico kid is gonna be mega. No caps. Been impressed with him since he burst onto the senior scene at 17. A RB who can invert and operate super comfortably as a Midfielder. Passing range, Ball intelligence, tactical intelligence, Press resistance, Composure, etc and he is still just 18!!!!

He looks like the only lad currently who can do what he does with ease. Although I understand there is a Malo Gusto of Lyon who might come close.

He balled in Granada too. He had issues with injuries not that he was bad. What about Dennis that could not score a single goal at Cologne getting double digits in your EPL? It is not a hidden fact that EPL throws money anyhow. Lauratto, Oshimen, Vhalovic, Piatek, Dzeko will start for the top teams in your EPL. Facts!

Very interesting and nice spotting of Gusto. Will definitely watch him closely..

On another note, I think our current team is not in sync with Rico Lewis. Rico Lewis needs movements around him to get the best out of him.

He is doing his bit but Guardiola needs to advise our players to pass the ball more. We are a bit too direct.

Also, we need more numbers close to the keeper. Ortega is absolutely brilliant with his feet but we need more players around him to keep the ball moving.

We need combinations in our build up plays to break Arsenal's pressing to give Haaland room upfront.

Unbelievably good. Akanji does the work of two Central defenders when we are off the ball. Impressive today.

Describing him as a baller even at his best sets the bar for 'balling' very low IMO. The more back-able opinion is that his name Success has been the perfect irony as far as his football career has developed.

I liked him as a kid though.

Can you please for once act with integrity.

https://www.bbc.com/sport/africa/57552593

Mr. Integrity, try and read articles you post. No action happened. The match fixer acted as an agent to help Siasia get a job on an agreement that he would field some of his players.

No different from Pedro Mendes getting the Chelsea job for Mourinho and Mourinho asking for Mendes players like Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira.

Unfortunately, the agent was a match fixer. The article you quoted clearly stated that Siasia's action was committed passively. So that headline saying Siasia was suspended for match fixing is wrong.
