He balled in Granada too. He had issues with injuries not that he was bad. What about Dennis that could not score a single goal at Cologne getting double digits in your EPL? It is not a hidden fact that EPL throws money anyhow. Lauratto, Oshimen, Vhalovic, Piatek, Dzeko will start for the top teams in your EPL. Facts!

Apart from from Dzeko, everything else in bold is speculation not FACT. It' may become true but for now it's speculation.

Dzeko played his last game in the EPL in 2014/15 season after 22 games and only 4 goals he had lost form in the EPL and went to Seria A, that is a fact not an opinion. Dzeko is 36 and balling in Seria A

Are you saying Issac Success had injury issues for the 5 seasons he was at Watford ❓ that's not factual.

If u can admit he is a baller at Udinese with 2 goals in 40 appearances over 2 seasons, how do u explain calling him a wasteman in England U act like he came to Italy and started leading the league in scoring.

My reference to the term baller is comedic sarcasm ,you should know that.

Lorient presented their new attacking signing from Marseille, Bamba Dieng today before their league kickoff vs Rennes.

That surely seals the fact that Moffi is leaving and his move to Nice is gonna go through as soon as Lorient accepts Nice's 6th proposal above the 23Million euros they tabled last time out. It should be something close to 30million euros this time and business will be finally done.

Lorient won without Moffi by the way. 2-1 vs Lesley's Rennes in the Verton Derby.

Remember what I told you about Ake. That guy is growing fast. Did you notice how he took out Saka? Saka was totally lost today with Ake on him.

Ake also drifted to the midfield repeatedly with ease and also put in some good overlapping runs. He was fantastic in the air. Hardly dribbled and was hardly off position. He was also brilliant with his passes. Clearly the best player on the field tonight.

Yes I observed how he rendered Saka quite toothless and his involvements in City's 1st and 2nd phases of play. Immense shift from Ake tonight.

Saka was not totally lost. I expected you to understand the tactic both teams used.

He's not please. He just can't let go of his huge weekly wages. He made bank with the Leicester deal and is probably one of the highest paid Eagles players.

Moving means he'll have to take a significant pay cut as not club will pay him what he currently earns at Leicester, not with his form.

Naija Talents Watch: Akinsanmiro Ebenezer, Midfielder, 18 years, Inter-Milan Bound.

From the local front, I have brought Profiles/Dossiers on the likes of Jamiu Musbaudeen, Ozor Okeke, Ebube Okere, Emmanuel Michael, Raphael Oyebanjo and a few other U17/U18 talents to this thread.

Well, here is another.

His name: Akinsanmiro Ebenezer of Beyond Limits FA, Remo Stars. 2004-born.

Gifted Young Central Midfielder good at receiving on the half turn and in the half spaces, good in transition plays both offensively and defensively through the middle, mature for his age in his passing and has high field Vision. Also, quite physically dominant.

Excelled for Beyond Limits FA at the Viareggio Cup held earlier this year in March and signed a Pre-contract with Inter Milan before returning to Nigeria with Remo Stars' academy side, Beyond Limits.

He also featured in the The Creative Championship, TCC, Nigeria.

Follow-up Reports say his transfer is to be officially announced in January and one of the clubs in Hammarby, Sweden also tabled an offer for Ebenezer.

Remember the Name, Akinsanmiro Ebenezer. wink

Best player at the Viareggio Tournament in Italy last March for a reason.

His talent was so obvious that Inter had to make the first move with a pre contract to ward off Benfica and others. Big talent he is and another one from Remo Stars/Beyond Limits FA like I was discussing yesterday.

On Edidiong, maybe not anything special but at least their Scouting team spotted and recruited him from his former side.

Same thing they did with Olamilekan Adams who is currently in the Flying Eagles camp and doing quite well. They got him from Lobi stars.

But the special thing Remo is doing is not about recruiting Edidiong. It is rather about the structure they have put in place to enable them groom and train teen talents, bring them through the youth development process with very decent footballing education and promote some to the first team with some others making it out to Europe as well. That they are doing this effectively well as an NPFL Side is something to admire.

That in addition to their recruitment drive to keep bringing in some of the best low budget young talents around for their first team to sustain their competitive level on the local front is commendable.

On one hand, they stay competitive but on the other hand, they cam afford to see their best young talents who came through the academy leave for Europe.

For me their Academy is kind of separate from the club. My reason is that they will never get to use the best young players in their actual club. I know they are a private club and we all want to see them succeed but this is only their 2nd season back in the NPFL and they are doing well but so did MFM. Let's see what happens when players like Andy Okpe, Qudus Akani and Dayo Ojo leave the club.

Their Academy isn't separate, Basco. It is part of the Remo structure.

I already said they can afford to see several of their most promising youngsters leave straight for Europe and that is even without them featuring in the NPFL. A few of them do feature.

The good ones may stay and work their way to the first team before leaving for Europe later while the most outstanding ones won't even get the chance at Local senior league football because Europe would come calling already.

Remo can afford to lose their brightest early because of their pool and the way their talents recruitment, scouting and grooming is structured.

Here below is Akinsanmiro Ebenezer with a MOTM recognition for Remo Stars' Beyond Limits FA in the TCC back in 2021. They play under Remo Stars' colors so they certainly aren't separate. It is a system working hand in hand within the Remo stars football structure.

Thesupernerd Thegoodjoe , I saw a report somewhere that Nduka Ukagbe has decided to throw open the u-17 screening rather than stick with the core of the lads from the WAFU tournament... Reports of players and their agents flooding the team's training camp at Abuja...
What do u think of that? A good idea?

Yes, he threw another open screening for one reason only.

Some of the lads who featured at the Wafu B qualifying Tournament are already in Grade IV class by MRI screening standards so he is preparing for the possibility of a few being declared ineligible for the African tournament proper.

He still called up all the lads who featured at the Wafu B but screening more players is to buffer for any loss due to another round of MRI screening pre-U17 Afcon.

Nigeria already has a reputation of being one of the biggest exporter of footballers in the world..And we export good players...
If Remo Stars play their game well, they could become the Ajax or Dortmund of Africa.... Their owner already owns a club in Portugal, so that's a bonus too...
I just hope they don't sell too many good players at a go.. at least so they can dominate the local scene..

That makes sense... Hopefully, the number of players trooping into the camp doesn't overwhelm him and compromise his judgement... Another set of Osimhen, Chukwueze, Iheanacho,Awoniyi, Nwakali, etc are waiting to be discovered...

This! Very well said! This is exactly where I am headed as regards Remo. Perhaps it's early to say but I too feel they could potentially indeed become the Ajax, Benfica, Monaco or Dortmund of Nigeria and by extension, Africa.

And I believe their recruitment drive for the first team and the pool of talents coming through their academy system and their Scouting will enable them stay competitive on the local scene while also making good money off the best of the brightest they have in their system. I pray they sustain this model so that other League clubs will finally wake up and do it "consistently" right.
