Xhaka was slow, Even Zinch was Slow, but Partey was fast enough to stop Antony that night. Something Jorg can never ever do till season ends. I don't like the sound of this. I don't even see Jorg as a CDM atall. He never fits into the dirty work midfielder even if he has interceptions. Tackling and blocks, recoveries are not his forte atall. Unless the idea is to let Xhaka sit back, which i don't see happening.

Once Jorg appears in the red and white on matchday, then it's nothing but support from me personally.

He his far better than Sambi and even though his signing is not exactly lightning up our expectations, we just need to back him to succeed with us.

What this has taught me is that our scouts need to learn from smaller teams on finding raw gems at small prices
We really cannot survive on buying players at inflated prices in the long run.

We need our team to move out there and discover these talents asap

Different system, different player. Jorginho usually has a runner as his partner at Chelsea in Kovacic and Kante. He wouldn't get that at Arsenal as Xhaka and Ode will be a bit far from him. Part of Partey's function is the efficient ball-winning which I don't think Jorginho has in his bank.

Even if it meant recalling C. Patino! I can't get over this transfer, I can't. Arteta is winning me on the field with how we are playing but decisions like this just make it harder to believe him totally.

I mean, Jorginho, how, why.. Are we going to revert to 4-2-3-1 to accommodate Jorg when he comes in because I don't see how he plays the base of the 4-1-2-3 formation that we have employed throughout the season. He can't function on his own, especially when you consider the intensity with which we press and how high we press from the top.

How about our wing play which is the strength of our attack, especially during counters and transition plays? Man can't string long passes from deep to open up the attack. I am beyond frustrated at this transfer, I have been trying to see the positive but I can't! Partey can't play consecutive 90 minutes, that means we are going to see Jorginho come in during critical moments of the game when we need to win or see a lead out!
