Good day everyone! How do one get travel insurance/health insurance? From VFS during submission of documents?

Are there submission dates available now this month or Feb with VFS? Thank you.

I'm not concerned with who the letter is addressed to, I made my submission based on the address the letter should go to. The first address captured by the chap who asked the question is the CG's official residence.

That being said, letters can be addressed to Visa Officers, as they are the ones the letters are intended for in the first place, being authorized to act on behalf of the CG, HC or Ambassadors as the case may be.

You can get travel insurance from most insurance companies in Nigeria. All you need to do is visit any of their websites to buy travel insurance. You don’t need an agent or anyone else to buy travel insurance.

Travel insurance is cheap in Nigeria. The price you pay depends on the company you get it from. You can visit multiple insurance company websites and then compare prices.

I always go for the cheapest because it doesn't matter which company you buy it from.

You can get travel insurance that will cover a 7-day trip for as little as 3,200 naira, a 10-day trip for about 4500 naira, or less than 9000 naira for one month of travel insurance.

Buy it online from any of the insurance companies. You don’t need anyone or agent before you can buy travel insurance.

I've been offered admission to a business school in Villeurbanne, Lyon.
The fee is 6,990 Euro.
My problem is that they didn't state whether it is going to be under installments.

Someone should help me check out this school

I know you can buy it via their website; however, I am not sure if you can do so during submission at their office. You can call them to find out.

Note: It's expensive to buy it through their website because travel insurance for a weeklong trip might cost you over 20 euros. same thing you can get for less than 5000 naira online.

Where you obtain the insurance certificate doesn't really matter in my opinion once it is valid. Getting from them or outside doesn’t guarantee a visa.

You can use the link below to buy it from VFS website

https://visa.vfsglobal.com/nga/en/fra
- login to their website
- scroll down to “secure and protect yourself”
- click Get it now

Hello all,I’m in a mess and I need your advice.I know I’ve messed up but it’s my desperation that got me into this.I contacted an agent to help me with my visa application to italy embassy.I submitted all the requested documents with my real statement of account but when I went back to pick up my passport..a letter was sent instead that I submitted some fake documents (the letters from the company he alleged I work with)and my passport and documents will be sent to Nigeria police special fraud unit.
Has anyone been in this situation before ?I don’t even know when the police will contact me cause I don’t know if they’ve got the passport already or yet to get it.I desperately need my passport cause a legit travel opportunity has now opened for me.I don’t know what next to do
Forget about Schengen visa till eternity cause they share information.

You better look to other continents like America, Asia, Africa. Doubt if you can be lucky with Australia.

We're going through challenges in Nigeria, but what's the desperation about?

Desperation made people go to Libya and turn Olosho, only to be deported or ask Abike Dabiri for help.

Agents are f**king people that are only after their fees and will mess you up

What's the normal timeline for italy visa application? I submitted my application since 1st of Dec. 2022 and till date, I have not gotten any update on when my passport would be returned back. If anyone has had similar experience in the past or currently, please share your thoughts

I want to travel to France with my wife on our anniversary. We have traveled together to the UAE twice on holidays. What requirements do we provide. We are both self employed and have sufficient funds. Experts we need help. I don’t want to go through agents because of the dangers of doctoring our documents! 10 days holiday.

Very soon, no more going to VFS or TLS to apply for visa.

It would be online where you upload documents.

I love online application so much, cos you get to upload unlimited documents to secure your visa

Mehn, this is some good news.

According to the article, no more physical visa sticker but digital visa.

What will be the fate of VFS and TLS then?

No mater how they digitalize the application process they will still need physical biometrics for applicants. UK have option of uploading documents online but applicants still go for biometric

I want to go to France on vacation,

I av enough money for the trip as I have a business in Nigeria and pays salary monthly to my personal account.

About travel insurance can I buy from Nigeria or it has to be the uk where I am resident.

I know I need to submit evidence of 50euro daily for upkeep for the duration of my stay in the shengen area and also uk bank statement and school document.
