I don't want to discuss this topic too much because I don't want it to seem like I am dividing Igbo land....but they want Anambra to be further divided and broken down, only Anambra is the target.

On many Igbo platforms if you open an Anambra topic they will not approve it.

A lot of Igbo from Imo and Abia state have very serious issues with the Anambra make up. They feel the state is too great to be one. They want it partitioned so badly

You know the truth one idiot was saying that Anambra isn't an identity....i don't know why those people are having inferior complex in them

The monkey said that I shouldn't project Anambra... you can imagine the idiot

Ezi, obiano was well received and campaigned freely in Onitsha main market. The evil peter obi supporters wish his "enemies" always comes back to him. The desperation to sell a narrative Obiano was booed by desperate obidients fell flatly as the video they shared never showed anything of such.

if you want to know what it means to be booed go and Google/Youtube peter Obi being booed at main market in 2017 and 2021. That is an example next time you want to tell anyone was booed. No Anambra person can boo Anambra best Governor. Try harder next time

Now that Obi is contesting against Ebele obiano we will see who wins at the end. Onye iberibe.

Anambra is a well defined identity because we are very different in many ways but still Igbo. We dance differently, speak different and look different.

Our drums sounds very different
Our chants sounds different
Our music also sounds different
Our food is equally different

Its numerous

For example, the red cap is only wore by titled Ozo men in Anambra but other Igbo think it's a fashion thing

Anambra has a clear defined identity...we have our ethos and culture... that is the fact . the only people we even have cultural similarities are Anioma igbo but we are still Anambra and we hold our identity strong

Come there in 2 years time, you will see unplanned 2 to 5 storey building scattered everywhere with no good access road .

None of these Governors has no vision whatsoever , a bunch of idi0ts.
Roads and town planning are very important aspects of development being ignored by successive Anambra state governors. I have been here since the days of Peter Obi and this is always my point. I remember when they were arguing about how viable Anambra airport will be, I'm for whatever project will bring development if only the governor that started it will complete it. Frank said that the airport will open up new areas and people will be building hotels and offices and he gave Asaba airport as a reference of what will happen to Anambra airport. But he's not aware that Delta state government equally invested so much in developing the areas around the airport. Solid roads with sidewalks are constructed in Mirian Babandiga and the Vanguard area was not left out. The three tallest hotels around there are under construction and they're owned by Anambra men out of the three two are doing/have business at Onitsha. One is Ejison(his hotel exterior is completed) and the second one is a trader at Ogbo Ogwu he's done with Skeleton and now laying blocks, the other person is the owner of Efab Estate who even has an already functional hotel( Top rank) which is five-story building and is speedily building this current one that will join the leagues of tall hotels at Asaba. If 3-3 to Nsugbe roads is dualized, the face of that area will positively be changed and it will give that side an unimaginable facelift but to even repair the road dey very hard and I believe that Willie and the wife jump that pothole if they came to Onitsha from Aguleri last week he came to campaign for the wife at Onitsha main market. lipsrsealed embarassed

I have wrote about how these non Anambra Igbo are making caricatures of our elegant culture and style without understanding what it means. How can a person who has not gone through the strict ritual process of Ozo title taking put on the red cap and acting like a clown. Its very infuriating.

In Onicha , that red cap are only wore by the Ndichie Umeh not even Ozo. Just because we are all Igbos doesn't mean we can do as it pleases us.

I cannot agree more with your submission on Roads and Town planning as the greatest challenge making Anambra not to be livable. There is no single dual carriage Road of more than 20km constructed by the State government in any part of the State, and its quite appalling.

I drove to PH from Awka via Ekwulobia-Uga-Osina-Orlu-Owerri -PH and i observed that from Osina to Owerri, Imo state government had dual carriage ways across these route and a lot of other roads within that axis were either dual carriage ways or they planned for it from its layout.

I ask Anambra state government what will it cost to:
1. demolish buildings from Amawbia flover to Amawbia roundabout on Onitsha Road in order to dualize that stretch of the road. Then dualize Amawbia-Nibo-Nise-Agulu-Nanka-Ekwulobia-Uga and join with Imo State boundary that has been dualized already.

2. Do a clover-leaf flyover at Airport junction at Nteje/Umunya on Awka/Onitsha expressway and do a South bound dual carriage way that will cut through Awka/Onitsha old road somewhere around Abagana or Ogidi and cut through Nkpor/Nnobi Road somewhere around Umuoji and join the eastern side of Obosi interchange. Then dualize Nkpor-Nnobi-Ekwulobia Road and Nnobi to Nnewi Road.

3. Dualize the 33 Road to Aguleri, with a spur to the new Airport. Connect a Road from Anambra East axis through Awka North and come out at Awka around the new government house at Aroma axis or around Esther Obiakor Avenue at Awka

4. Plan the areas around the new airport and all the stretch from the 2nd Niger bridge to Obosi interchange as these two places can be used to build planned cities that will befit the Dubai/Taiwan in your manifesto.

You will never face your backward useless worthless shithole imo state. Everytime you are on this thread spewing your bitterness and envy.

No matter how hard you try to deceive yourself, Anambra is the most developed state with the best roads in igboland. Anambra is like the Lagos of the eastern Nigeria. Stop comparing your backward imo state to Anambra.

Anambra is the most livable state in igboland because it is a single state in igboland that has the highest population of other igbos and other Nigerians alike living within it. Anambra is like the America of ndi imo, because there are over 2million of 4million of imo population living in Anambra, this is just one instance.

Anambra has the best airport in igboland and the only airport that has facilities that can receive international airlines in the region.

Anambra has the best and biggest international convention centre in igboland.

Anambra has the biggest and best roads and infrastructures in the region.

Anambra has the biggest economy in the region.

Anambra has the best public schools in the region.

Anambra has the best public hospitals in the region.

Anambra has the brightest and best human capitals in igboland. I can go on and on.

You people should take your envy and bitterness out of here because it will never stand.

With love from me

They do not understand the fact that Anambra igbo has evolved to be a brand .... They do not know that it is only us that do ofala

They do not want us to be proud of our state that we have built. They don't want us to speak our igbo that have come to evolve to a whole and clear one....

Funny enough the igbo that Anambra has closest similarity are the Anioma igbo ....

That’s a swamp for runoff from floods. Notice how well the road was elevated . Will the whole of that estate be sand filled to reach the height of the road ? Did the even carry out an EIA report ? Unprofessional tampering will lead to disastrous floods in the future. Before the begin marketing it as an estate, the should construct drains and alternative water routes.

By the way, I suggested the Anambra state government take into its possession lands adjoining and around the new Niger bridge .I made this suggestion while the bridge was still some ways to being constructed and I got insulted by a fellow still causing mischief in this thread. We are seeing the result of the government not doing that - private ,profits at all cost opportunistic fellows are already fast at work.

I have problem with some people on this thread because I was against the kind of roads Obi was constructing during his time, but do you know that most of them have left this thread because Obiano continues on the same part of road construction.
What is worth doing is worth doing well, even Rochas manage to construct a poor-quality dual carriageway around Imo state but now Hope is turning most of those roads into standard roads while ANSG will be constructing single lanes that will be hard to fit big lorries moving across each other lipsrsealed embarassed .
I don't even want to speak of Obiano's projects cos that man do us willy-willy embarassed embarassed .
I just laugh when some people call Ikpeazu a failure, The man built a lot of dual carriageways with sidewalks in Abia state and even construct a dual carriageway from Aba to his house in Umuobiakwa. Now Obingwa LG is fast joining Aba as a single city even though you don't have to see rapid new buildings like you see at Oba, Umuoji, Obosi and other adjoining cities around Onitsha.
