Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Waziri Atiku Abubakar, says the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, plans to acquire Federal Government properties across the country if he becomes President.

Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu, said this in a statement while reacting to Tinubu’s claim that Atiku sold off government properties and diverted the proceeds.

Shaibu stated that Lagos State where Tinubu has been ruling directly and indirectly since 1999 has become his personal property.

He noted that Tinubu in an interview with The News Magazine some 10 years ago, said he returned to Nigeria after the June 12 struggle with nothing.

Tinubu stated that “They dispossessed me of the house, as well as my office on Saka Tinubu Street. My vehicles and everything else I owned. They claimed they found bombs in it and dispossessed me of it. I was totally cleaned out. I had only five shirts, £2000 pounds and jackets”.

He said Tinubu became the first governor in history to sign an obnoxious pension law that guaranteed lifetime benefits for himself and his family.

The obnoxious pension law provides that a former governor of Lagos gets a residential house at any location of his choice in Lagos State and one residential house in the Federal Capital Territory for the governor on two consecutive terms.

Tinubu’s law also stated that he will get six brand new cars every three years, 100 per cent of the basic salary of the serving governor, free health care for himself and members of his family; furniture allowance, which is 300 percent of their annual basic salary house maintenance allowance, which is 10 per cent of basic salary utility allowance, which is 20 percent of the salary and car maintenance allowance, which is 30 per cent of the annual basic salary.

Other benefits include entertainment allowance, which is 10 percent of the basic salary and a personal assistant, who will earn 25 percent of the governor’s annual basic salary. Even former Presidents of Nigeria do not enjoy such largesse.

This is the state-sanctioned profligacy that Tinubu entrenched as a former governor.

He added, “Tinubu’s residence at 26 Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi was initially falsely presented as the Guest House of an oil company. Later, he purportedly bought and used public funds to rebuild and renovate it. The Lagos State Government bought the property and paid an undisclosed sum to him and thereafter gave the property back to him under the bogus Pension Bill he signed into law shortly before he left office in 2007.

The annex of the Lagos State Guest House in Asokoro, Abuja was bought by the State Government in 2006 for N450 million, purportedly to protect the main house from security breach.”

Shaibu alleged that the tollgates along the Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Alpha Beta Consulting which has exclusive rights to collect taxes on behalf of the Lagos State Government as well as many other revenue generating firms in Lagos are under the control of Tinubu.

Shaibu stated, “If Tinubu becomes President, he will take ownership of the federal secretariat, Ikoyi; the Tafawa Balewa Square and every other federal property in Ikoyi to the detriment of Nigeria.

“Already, his wife is a senator, his daughter is market woman leader. His sister-in-law is a commissioner; his son enjoys advertisement monopoly in Lagos. His godson, MC Oluomo. If Tinubu takes over as President, the entire country will become the property of his family. Nigerians will become second class citizens in their own country,” he added.

“The World Bank says 2 out of every 3 Lagosians live in a slum. But how can Lagos tackle its housing deficit? In just four years, Lateef Jakande built over 30,000 housing units. Jakande lived in Ilupeju all his life. Can the same be said of the self acclaimed architect of modern Lagos?” he asked.

If Alh. Atiku had remained Adamawa Gov in 1999, he most likely would have done worse judging from his outing as a VP.

Atiku and Tinubu were once business and political associates. Trust me if they meet today after these missiles, they'll still embrace each other.

It's unfortunate that we have the two of them as the front runners.

Ochejoseph Otorkpa aka Kinglying aka Camplying and 20 other monikers, how does it feel seeing your candidate being religated? Atiku has become so irrelevant that you have to create topics for him by yourself and fill it up with positive comments and "likes" by yourself 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorta reminds me lf that guy "Bilms" that used to work for Gbenga Olawepo Hashim that year. I remember how he tried so hard to form a narrative that his Oga was some sort of "3rd Force" in the 2019 election, all to no avail! Nobody gave a fuk about Olawepo Hashim then, and nobody still gives a fuk about him now! Choosing Atiku as the PDP flagbearer will teach the PDP a bitter lesson, one which they may never be able to recover from.

I'll rather vote for Tinubu than allow another Northerner rule this country. Northerners, sorry to say are clueless and senseless. Most of their people
are illiterates, beggars, okada riders and bandits. We must get sense in 2023. No to Northerners

GOD BLESS JAGABAN.

Only in Nigeria will a looter still be talking in this manner.

BETWEEN ATIKU AND TINUBU.

Tinubu contested and won a Lagos senatorial election.
But when IBB banned all old generation politicians just to disqualify Yar'adua, Yar'adua put Atiku forward to run for President.
Prior to this time, Tinubu had jettisoned his Senate Presidential ambition to pave way for a Southern President.
At the Jos convention, Abiola and Adedibu had a long meeting with Yar'adua to drop his boy Atiku from the race so that Kingibe would not defeat MKO in the primary.
Yar'adua initially refused until people like Adedibu, Tinubu, Oladipo etc reminded him how they supported him against southerners before IBB disqualified him.
Yar'adua eventually surrendered and Atiku backed down, not willingly.

IN 1999, Atiku won Adamawa Governorship Election, Tinubu won Lagos Governorship Election.

OBJ picked Governor Elect Atiku as running mate, therefore, Atiku never had the opportunity of showing his capabilities to transform Adamawa.
Whereas, Tinubu grabbed the opportunity and turned Lagos to 4th Economy in Africa while Adamawa became a den of terrorism until Buhari dislodged the terror.
Boko haram that terrorised the state was formed in Borno during the regime of OBJ and Atiku but became a global worry under GEJ.

After 2003 election, when Obasanjo was molesting Atiku, Atiku ran to Tinubu his PFN brother for safety, he got it.
Tinubu formed and funded a political party when OBJ technically expelled Atiku from PDP. Tinubu gave Atiku the platform.
However, Atiku left thereafter to rejoin the PDP because Atiku couldn't cope with the little beginning of the AC,
he wanted a ready made party.
Tinubu must have told himself "Atiku is not following Yar'adua's ethics. Yar'adua was never a political olosho", Tinubu’s trust for Atiku evaporated.
And when Atiku lost in the PDP again, he was stranded. Tinubu and Buhari formed APC, immediately Atiku saw APC, he left PDP officially and ran to Tinubu again.
Buhari was afraid that Tinubu would jilt him for his PFN ally, despite many assurances, Buhari was sceptical until after Tinubu kept his promise at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
That was when Atiku also realised that he has lost Tinubu’s trust!!! Atiku again went back to the PDP after the general elections.

Atiku has been moving in and out of the PDP like a celebrity marriage, whereas Tinubu has never been a PDP man for one day.
Atiku is unstable politically, Tinubu is not just stable, his words are bankable, ask Buhari.
tiku is unlike Shehu Musa Yar'adua, ask Tinubu, ask OBJ and ask Nysome Wike.

2023 has brought the two students of the same teacher into a single contest, who actually got the best training and adhere strictly to it? Who has the magic wand of Tafida?
Nigerians have to make a clear choice between faithfulness or Promiscuity. Between Selflessness and Selfishness.
Between Tinubu’s Lagos Performance and Atiku's VP performance.
Between Tinubu’s ExxonMobil records and Atiku's Customs Records.

Between a Dubai based politician and a Lagos Based National Leader!!!

It is just a case of Olosho wey change location.....

For the children of hate, frustrations and perdition that voted for Atiku less than 4 years ago and are now out telling us that he is a thief, he is corrupt a criminal, he hates other religions, he is also a terrorist etc.
For you knowing all these and still went ahead to vote for him just 3 years ago

If your direct boss can write what Obasanjo wrote about Atiku, he should be ashamed to even attempt any political position in Nigeria.

He openly said he will sell all Nigeria assets to his close friends.

Anyone that votes this man must be sick upstairs.
