We’ve been suffering for 7years plus now, i believe after the election, when Peter Obi would have emerged winner, things will get better.

Nigerians are already adjusting to cashless policies.. transfers are now the order of the day. The other day a POS merchant called me if I needed cash at normal rate.. grin grin... it seems people have dumped them and their arbitrary charges..

Buhari/emefiele should stand strong... Nigerians are behind them on this monetary policy.

Typical of Nigerians to attack the messengers leaving out those who wrote and sent the message!

The bank staff have no say in what CBN and their management board do!

A normal nation would have had its citizens shut down the entire nation from state to state compelling the corrupt leaders to cough up solutions in days!

...But you idiotic, bigoted, and hypocritically religious people will rather defend your useless leaders and fight your fellow citizens!

Same thing that played out during EndSars!

Una go suffer tire for this nation till you all have sense and unite or collectively push for division of this contraption!

Don't you think it would have been better if l, you as a person, go to their houses of your politicians to strike them than striking people who are doing their job amid the political crisis engineered by APC to fight APC? Pls let's learn to fight a just fight...

2 hours at the bank yesterday, two hours on the phone with 3 calls...

Now I have already spent 2 hours at the bank...

Can't access my own money since Friday (even digitally), they blocked my old student account but still accepting deposit.

I don't totally blame the stuff, they are common citizen like me but, there is one, I would sort out and attack if law and order breaks down.

This is the effect of two bullion vans offloading in a private apartment... the policy is not wrong, but the implementation is been sabotaged by bullion van sympathizers.

Did he ask the bank staffs to hoard the new notes too? This guys are the cause of this crisis. For 3 months how much cash do majority of Nigerians have in stock that the commercial banks can't change within that period? They were busy selling it to policticians that were hoarding billions to buy votes Instead of releasing the new notes into circulation . Some of you don't know what is happening in your country.

I'm not a banker. Just because I tucked in my shirt. A tout wanted to call crowd on me at the bank. I displayed street madness for him and he backed off.
If you're in the middleclass, be very vigilant, the poor are looking for any excuse to lynch you. They hate you and feel you're the privileged one that took their wealth. When these same people see the policians and their cohorts that are looting them dry, they worship them.

Nigerians are also part of the problem...!

Banks will assign tally numbers, people will still choose to disregard them and look for ways to jump queues.

The banks are also complicit in worsening queues by hoarding cash and selling currencies.

Imagine how we have turned a simple process of Currency change into a full blown Black Market business.

The very same banks accusing CBN of not supplying them enough cash are the ones hoarding millions of Naira meant for common citizens.
