You don't even deserved to be answered at all. You are being secretive but u still want people to assist you in ur own application, does that even make sense to u?

a part of the reason she/he could be denied since they didnt apply to other schools to explore funding… and their sponsor is a relative who is a custom officer without much take home pay to back up $50k/yr. If she/he/parents were paying in full .. then it’s a non-issue

But the information being shared here is visa application and interview. And I have gone further to mention the school and encouraged people here to apply .

You mean you mentioned the school after people started calling you out

The wait time can be frustrating and sharing a school name could help alleviate someone’s frustration. And most times, people say “congratulations!” and just pray they get an offer - not to wish yours is rescinded.

I previously checked out their mechanical or Environmental Science/Engineering PhD program and I don’t think their MS in Mechanical Engineering funds their students and the PhD requires one to find a supervisor. The fact that they require official transcript and gre score is even more annoying.

I understand your explanation. The issue is this, what if they didn't offer him the code after applying?

As for mine, during the request, I copied virtually everyone that I came across their email not just the program advisor. It even remain a little, I would have copied the University Rector😅😅🤣

The option I gave him is this, apply and forward your application. If he want, I can submit mine later. As for the code, it is both MSc and PhD. Either of the one he uses, I will offer the other code to someone in this thread to use (one person only).

NB: I am not preventing anyone else from seeking for app fee waiver directly from source. Already dropped the necessary information (School name and faculty). I am only trying to help out in shooting up his option to 2 schools.

No I applied to two; one MSc and one PhD. Got the PhD, the MSc is still under departmental review

In my last interview, I had no LinkedIn profile, and I made an error on my DS-160, which Barrister Ogbu noticed after I sent him my DS-160 for review. I built my LinkedIn profile and uploaded all my certifications. For someone with a long career, the VO wouldn't believe that I actually work with the said organization if I didn't have an online presence.

I was the third in line and the first to be approved. The interview started around 10:15 a.m.
 
VO: Hello.
Me: Good morning.
VO: Could you pass me your form?
Me: Yes! You can have it.
VO: So, you're going to Marshall University.
Me: Correct! I'm going to Marshall University for my Masters in Geography, and I will be taking a minimum of 34 credit hours with courses like bla bla. Under the supervision of Professor Jamie, I would be researching the impact of *****. (I stuttered at first but gained momentum when she said that she was interested in my research, so I continued and she didn't interrupt me.)
VO: Have you been outside the country?
Me: No! I've been very busy working in Nigeria.
VO: So, do you have any relatives living in the US?
Me: No! I don't. All my relatives live in Nigeria.
VO: So, you were here last year, going to FSU, and were denied this year again, going to Marshall University. Tell me what has changed and why you think you were denied. Be honest with me.
Me: I think the last time I was in Lagos, I was unable to explain my funding clearly and concisely. I have been awarded a graduate teaching assistantship that covers 70% of my tuition and fees and a $6,000 stipend to cater for my living expenses. I have worked for over 11 years and have saved 12 million naira, of which I will use part to cover my deficit.

VO: So what about your uncle? Why is he not sponsoring you again?
Me: I have enough money to cover my deficit; that's why my account statement was used. But he still promised to assist me, as he always does.

I will be returning as the regional GIS head in our organization; we're the 4th largest in Nigeria. I will be applying geospatial technologies to combat energy theft and generate more revenue for the organization.

Me: Yes! Following the unbundling of PHCN in 2013.
VO: In the US, ours is run by the government.
Me: Okay
VO: Have you applied to Canada before?
(I guess she opened my LinkedIn and saw the Canada WES evaluation report because I saw her screen reflection on her glasses.)
Me: No! When I wanted to evaluate my transcript, I accidentally selected Canada instead of the USA, so I had to pay another fee and transfer my transcript to WES USA. (which she cut off)
VO: It's okay. Your visa is approved.
You will get an email soon. Enjoy your stay.
Me: "Thank you!"

I was just indifferent, and it was after I got out that the security guys told me to smile and said congratulations.

That was when I started getting emotional.

Good morning everyone, please I posted about a convention on September 2023 and how I was given an interview date of 2024. I was advised to keep looking for early date and not to use an agent.
But I need to know where I should be looking for an early date is it the same place I was given the 2024 date(the site that always has a calendar and time to schedule) because I have been entering that site please and all I see is 2024?
