Hello guys. If one switch from a 5 year sponsorship to a 3 year sponsorship. When do the dependants switch their visa? Is it before the 3 year sponsorship of the main applicant expires or they can continue using their visa for the 5 years duration they were given when the MA had 5 years sponsorship?

Dependants can continue on their own visa and extend or switch at the expiry of their current visa.

Elders, I’ve come again o.

So, I’ve been house hunting and somehow, I came across a Nigerian offering a 2 bed on Facebook. I contacted him and he replied that the property is still available (just that he’s out of town on work assignment). He sent some pictures and I went to check the house at the address (the exterior still has the sold signage from the realtors).

He’s sent me the online document agreement but I’m of the opinion that he should send the keys to a trusted person who can show us the inside. I’ve also asked to get on a video call with him (so he can know us and we, him) but he said his phone just spoilt yesterday (I be naija boy sha).

His email name sef na one English name, different from the Nigerian name on the document and email ID. I’m seeing too many red flags and I don’t want my desperation to get the best of me.

Not correct.

Anything that happens to the main applicant's visa directly affects all linked dependants.

If main applicant switches visa or visa is curtailed,it will affect all linked applicants.

Depends on the location of the dealership, if you got the car directly from a Mercedes dealership, the age of the car and how good you were at negotiating.

Usually they throw in a year or two free road tax where they cover the cost.

Target their VIP events. Thats when you get the best deals.

Elders in the house, based on your experience, please which is better btw HP and PCP in getting a car in the UK?

It depends on if you view a car as an appreciating or depreciating assest as well as the associated cost of maintenance including cost of spare parts.

HP - you are stuck with the car
PCP - you don't even need to wait till the end of the contract. You can go to another dealership, pick up a completely different car and they sort out your previous dealer.

No. It's a completely independent account just like a normal bank account. It's at the point of buying a house that you can combine it if you so wish. So you can open it and save money in it and if you want to buy a house you can withdraw and then use the money in it as part of your deposit as joint-applicants on the mortgage, just as you would savings from any other source.

The length of contract, would be dependent on the deal you sign .........

Could be 6 month's, 1, 2 or 3 year's.......... But you must fulfill the length or den go carry you go court........😁😜

hey bro. I'm currently based on London but planning to move to Northampton. Viewing has been a major challenge as most agencies I've been talking to don't allow virtual viewing.

Please, I need help with viewing, I'd appreciate if you could help or Know anyone around who could help. More so, I'd appreciate If anyone staying around NN1-3 can help as well.

Or anyone has 2bed house for rent here? please mention me here..

Thanks everyone.
