This is the crass heartlessness that is found in Tinubu supporters.

His empathy is with the school and not the parents and siblings of the young girl.

So many people are waiting for the result of this election. If Tinubu is able to rig it they will Japa because the past 8 years will soon look like paradise with such a person as President

I don't expect much reasoning from a zombie like you.

You have no empathy for the multitudes who school at that facility and their parents and siblings.

Has a wrongful death been established?

Has Agege stadium been shut down if indeed it was electrocution as rumoured?

I reckon a zombie like you cannot fathom such critical questions.

My God grant the affected family the fortitude....

Occurrences like this happens everyday, only that Chrisland is a big man's school. The school management should be more careful when they plan for their next physical activities,...A lot of Agebor children are not physically fit as they appear.....

Rip to the dead, lesson for the living

Classic knee jerk reaction to a slumping death of a day student that happened at Agege stadium.

Very soon, even students' death in their parents house would result to a temporary closure of every school that child has ever attended, on the illogical pretext of investigating the death.

Just like the Nigeria Police, you arrest every living thing in the vicinity of a death, before establishing if the death was natural or homicide.

Chrisland should sue the Lagos State Government.

Government reacts to complaints or incidents, you'll blame the government, if government does not react, you'll still blame the government.
How do some people reason?
What can government do to please some people?

You’re actually the one using emotions here, fake one at that..

The girls death alone is sadness. Even if government didn’t close the school, the school out to close itself. You’re just here blabbing..

kindly point it out where I applied emotional sentiment.

Keep hammering on SADNESS, more emotional talk. did anyone tell you this is an event for jubilation? We know that one already so keep your emotions to yourself.

So what do you want? The school should just close itself for a CIRCUMSTANTIAL incident that happened outside the school grounds?

get a mop, your emotion is pouring everywhere.

Closing the school down is just denying other students the right to learn .

I beg to disagree sir. Yes she may have collapsed, she may even have had underlying issues, but Chrisland was lax regarding safeguarding. Such a school MUST have a standby ambulance for that day. If truly she fainted, or had a heart attack basic first aid measures that school ought to have provided could have saved the child’s life.

If it becomes a court case Chrisland cannot win. Infact, it becomes a precedence for school owners to compulsorily provide a functional ambulance on such days.

Why does Sanwoolu’s government always come up with this knee jerk reaction each time such incidents happen ?

One would’ve expected the government set up a panel of inquiry , invite all concerned parties(parents of the deceased child , the school management , doctors that attended to the deceased child at the hospital , etc ) , obtain useful information from them and then carry out an autopsy to really unravel the circumstances surrounding the late child’s death .

Why close down the school thereby denying other students the chance of learning within the normal school calender year ? What exactly is the closing down of the school expected to achieve ?

How dare people blame the school for her death?
Maybe she had health issues which made her slump and died.
Her mother was saying the school was supposed to have a very qualified professional doctor on ground. What nonsense

As always!

Her death was as a result of gross negligence! The little girl was electrocuted by a candy floss machine.

An electrocution would typically stop the heartbeat and CPR could probably have saved her but what is our typical response to someone falling down? We pour water, call on the blood of Jesus and run helter-skelter! No first aid on the scene and as she is being transported! Unfortunately, the school will be reopened in less than 2 months from now, no one will be held culpable and life will go on … till the next tragedy… until the death involved the child of someone prominent
Re: Lagos Government Shuts Chrisland School Over Whitney Adeniran’s Death by Blessed4sure: 8:06am On Feb 13, 2023
Yes, it's fully in order to close down the school for a few days to conduct the first round of investigations. So far it's not a lengthy shutdown. Especially when the school is frequently in the news for bad reasons

It's better to be safe than sorry, and losing a few days or weeks is better than than losing one's life.

Unless you have established the fact that what led to the student's death is incapable of hurting others.

I thought of this too. There are more heart related issues since the intro of that vaccine. But this girl in question is still a minor. The parent of the girl know more about what happened to her.

As far as i am aware they gave that injection to the kids too, and made them wear mask under hot sun long enough to cause brown lung decease from breathing in thier own carbon dioxide.

It’s just annoying . Some parents whose wards are in that school don’t even reside in Nigeria ; they work with the accademic calender to make sure they are always available to pick them or arrange for the wards to join them in their country of residence for holidays .

Now imagine such parent having to go out of his/her way to arrange for a temporary accommodation for the child now cos Sanwoolu decided to close down the school . 🤦‍♂️

Re: Lagos Government Shuts Chrisland School Over Whitney Adeniran’s Death by Blessed4sure: 8:11am On Feb 13, 2023
Why must you abuse every Nigerian to pass across your opinion.

People who have taken courses in safety and security would be aware that, following an incident, stopping work and cordoning off an area is the right course of action, to prevent a reoccurrence.

Safety should be first in everything.

Throwback:

How does shutting down the school aid the investigation?

They should have shut down all schools in Lagos then.

I guess the school premises turned her tongue black?

I now see Nigeria Police is actually as foolish as the Nigerian people from whom they are derived from.

You are concerned about the children returning to school.

But you should also be concerned about those children with a more complete approach. A traumatic incident occurred and you feel these children will be able to focus on their classes with the trauma of seeing their colleague lying dead, perhaps frothing, and rumors that will certainly grip the children in classes. Don't you think those children need a break? They weren't only made to learn.

They shouldn't be in school so that they can all receive some form of counseling. Even the staff need counseling.

All these issues you have raised and rightly too can be sorted out with an autopsy not by shutting down the school.
A child slumped, and that is what it is, people slump and die. From what we heard, she did not even participate in the activities as she complained she was not feeling OK.
The issue here is our habit of conspiracy theories. Someone even alledged the school bus driver should be arrested and investigated for sexual assault! What if the child had slumped at home? The parents will still ask what they did to her in the school that made her slump when she got home and demand the school be investigated.
As I wrote earlier, 2 kids were playing, one hit his head and got the normal lump on the head. Parents was informed, child taken to doctor by the school for examination. Dr recommended a CT scan. School paid (then) 55k. Scan was done. Dr raised alarm to the school of the presence of a growth/lump on the child's brain! Parent was informed. Parents confirmed they were aware for years, but were waiting for finances to fly the child abroad for treatment.
Some will drop or school bus will pick obviously sick kids, when school rejects them, parents (who want to go to work) grow wild that they paid school fees. That their kids are healthy. Even a child with smallpox, parents will fight that they must be in school!
Do you know how many kids will come to school with an empty stomach, same child without provision for snacks or lunch? We have seen kids faint out of hunger. Kids with stale, rotten food nko?
Abeg to run a school in Nigeria has its own peculiarities.
May her soul rest in peace and may almighty console the parents.

I don see shege for Nigerian schools. Honestly, running a school in Nigeria should be counted as the top 10 riskiest and dangerous business ever.

Let autopsy be done and let it confirm her cause of death and not just speculations.

If the school is found wanting for gross negligence, let those teachers/staff guilty of negligence be treated according to the law prescribes.

As it stands closing the school down makes absolute no sense.

So if a student dies in Canada, they will close the school ? you guys just sit down at home and type rubbish. This is not like a kind of gun shooting . She actually slumped during activities...most likely she had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The first thing that needs to be done is autopsy. You are all saying the school should have medical equipment on site. Yes, that is the ideal situation. The school is in Nigeria. We all saw senators slumped at the national assembly and no single defibrillator was in sight. No one skilled in ACLS was on the scene. It is an unfortunate incident that should be investigated by autopsy and probably inquest but not by shutting down the school. No such thing will happen in Canada or America. They don't close down schools when someone slumps and die

Intelligent nonsense is best to summarize this your epistle. I ask again, do you understand what is meant by duty of care? When you do you will review all you have written including the fact that a school where one literally pays through the nose does not have a skilled personnel to handle emergencies. This is not a Jakande school o. The rule of thumb is to be more careful when kids under your care are out of your immediate sphere. I don't blame you, I blame our system. That is what has inspired your position. I rest my case.
