What I did from admission to visa application:

I listed 3 schools that offer my course and applied to 3 of them. Pick the one with easy communication, deferral and favorable refund policy and also with curriculum that met my knowledge gap.

Got all my documents ready and all proofs to back up my claim.

I ensure my attachments to my SOP follow the details as stated in my SOP.

I attached enough picture evidence

Anybody that drop PPR documents list and whose case is similar to mine. I copied their PPR testimony to my notes for guidance on documents. I even go on linked in to look for people studying the course in my college and chat them 😀😀😀.

I was intentional about the whole journey and God was with me. Now, let me start my family application 😻

Your family of four will require minimum of $20,000CAD for every year of your wife's study, you need to show receipt for the first year/semester of her study with proof that you have the money for the next year/semester's tuition or show how you intend to meet the obligation. Make sure the funds you have are accessible, so it is sometimes better to liquidate the funds into savings account. 10million is not likely to be enough.
I have seen few exceptions, but from most of the testimonies here for family application, your Proof of fund should be at least N25million.

Though I just registered my Nairaland account yesterday but I've been on Nairaland forum for more than a year. Reading and getting information from here. Nairaland really helped me with the needed information. God bless everyone here

I submitted my first application 3rd October, 2022 and was refused December 20, 2022.
Reason: Insufficient fund and insufficient documentation to support my sponsor

My husband wants me to go study in Canada as it's the new development to get PR since age has disqualified us from other options to get PR.

He met with an agent from MAPLE comsult and he has paid for them to help me wt the process of admission and visa.
He suggested capebreton university for me; occupational health therapy.
I have made my own little research on this sch and the reviews are bad.
I read on Facebook that there is no job in Sydney and housing is expensive and limited .
Alot of people here on nairaland are not choosing the sch...Y??


I also read on Facebook that capebreton university won't REFUND your money if you are not granted visa and that they are on strike blah blah...
Please I don't want to make a mistake that I will regret, pls you gurus should pls come to my aid.

1month is for USA. for Canada, you can travel anytime however you might get questioned why you're traveling several months ahead of time. if you have enough living expenses then its no issue. keep in mind you cant work till classes begin.
I as well will be traveling early July for sept 5th start date since my medical expires Mid July.

My wife studied Medicine and Surgery in Morocco for 8 years, with a Federal government scholarship. She just graduated last year November. She's very fluent in both English and French, as she did her medical degree in pure French language,
and she's from Nigeria, so, she speaks English very well, and had her education up to secondary level here. She even has a resident card of Morocco right now. But she doesn't want to settle and practice in Morocco or Nigeria and likewise myself.
Which course do you think we can apply fro in Canada?
And which schools in which state that will appreciate bilingual mostly?
Mind you, the goal is PR for her.
Advise will be much appreciated.
