There is always an explanation to the generic reason which is always found on the refusal letter and you have to also list which documents you submitted so that everyone can contribute and help.

Honestly the silence is disturbing. My appeal got to the embassy on 30th of Jan. and still no response.
For the past 3weeks on the decision page, it displays only study appeals received in Abuja on the 24th is being covered.
Any info or update anyone pls?

You indicated your appeal application was received 30 Jan.
As at 13 Feb, the status remains they are attending to study appeals received by 24 Jan 2023 and study visa application received by 03 Jan 2023. Once they start processing appeals received from 30th Jan, they will update. Unfortunately, AFAIK, that's the way the Irish embassy operates.

You don't need a lawyer to appeal an Irish refusal-
Address all points raised comprehensively with detailed and genuine supporting documents and ADD LOTS OF PRAYERS

You may go to this post to see a previous compilation on addressing #refusal. See page 361

Wexford is a nice area but not as big and developed as Dublin and Cork. I pass through Carlow to Kilkenny to Waterford to Wexford every night while working. It's a beautiful and lovely County. Great weather too

Semmy K I am a lil worried because the scheduled resumption date (23rd January 2023) is past due. Will this possibly have any effect on my decision?
Although, another session for my programme starts in April 24th. Your comment will highly appreciated. Thank you.

Should be written as a letter addressing all stated reasons for rejection.
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by semmyk(m): 11:03pm On Feb 21, 2023
With a scheduled resumption 23rd Jan 2023 and we're already clocking ONE mth the resumption date, a letter from the school might be necessary. The school letter should indicate readiness to allow the student to continue with resumption and/or contingency plans/arrangement made to accommodate the student.
In the absence of that, one will expect deferring. In your case, deferring to 24 April 2023. This depends on the school's conditions. However, it shouldn't be difficult as the proof of delayed visa processing should suffice.
People with hands-on experience would advise better.

Great! Thank you.
Will reach out to the admissions officer. It is advisable to get a document(either deferral letter/contingency plan) from the school and send it to Abuja or wait for the Embassy to call for it? I don’t want to be too forward.

Create a transaction on transfermate then fill the details generated in your form A application, you can drop your digits so I can explain better if it's not clear

Hi everyone,

Please can someone who is familiar with "Form A" and "Transfermate" please give guidance.
1. Which of the process does one begin with first, Form A or Transfermate? given that Transfermate has a 48 hours time frame.
I'm thinking one has to initiate transfermate first in order to get the details needed for Form A (I don't know, just saying).
2. Is there a cap on the amount payable through Form A? Or one can pay all the fees at once.

This also goes for the edu-bond as well.
Please anyone who knows about this processes should kindly comment. Thank you!
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Mariamaudu15: 9:04pm On Feb 24, 2023
I paid my fees using form A via first bank. There's a portal for form A, fill it up with all the necessary documents and submit your application, it would be reviewed and approved by your bank, after which the school fees either u want full or half (depending on how much you want to pay) would be debited from your account. I didn't use transfermate. I used form A.

If I may ask, how is it that you didn't use transfermate, I thought school in Ireland use that as their accepted mode of payment.
How did you get the account details of the school for payment? Could you please enlighten just a bit more.
Thank you!
