A spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Campaign council, PPC, has said the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi will never win the forthcoming presidential election.

Peter Obi is one of the leading candidates of the presidential election, with Bola Tinubu representing the All Progressives Congress, APC and Atiku Abubakar standing in for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The PDP chieftain was specifically responding to a poll result released on Friday which rated the LP candidate as having 95 percent chance of winning the election.

Appearing on Arise Television’s The Morning Show on Monday, Dele Momodu said Obi cannot win in the Northern part of the country.

“In the South West, I can tell you that three people are going to share Lagos votes Tinubu, Peter Obi and Atiku. There’s nothing to argue about it this time.

The three will get their 25 percent then I don’t know who takes the lead and that’s all that we [the PDP] need…so whenever you have two Southern candidates, it’s going to be difficult and you can see that Obi is eating into the Southern votes.

“It would be a fantasy of the highest order for anybody to say Obi will win most parts of the North. It’s impossible. I’m not a gambler.

I would have put a bet on it but I’m telling you that it’s impossible. You see, polls are today based on the theory of who is likely to vote and of course it depends largely on technology…polls that said Obi will win the North are faulty polls.

“Obi cannot win the election. There’s no question about it.”

I watched him talking obtusely this morning on Arise TV. The old order definitely do not want to accept that Nigerians want a Nigeria without corrupt structures and institutions. (only Nigerians especially youths enjoying illicit money do not)

For many in government and their hapless cronies drunk on free money its either Atiku or at worst Tinubu wins it. The thought of Peter Obi is a thorn to contemplate.

It's so amazing that the so called progressives are suddenly afraid that what they've supported and pined for, for years is finally upon them. The true change. The funny thing is Momodu is banking on Governors to deliver a monolithic North ravaged by poverty. The same people who are hungry and angry and worse.....

....... have realized they brought their wahala on their own head in the first place.

Well, what Mr Momodu has done is to vocalize his wishes.

The same is true for all those who speak affirmatively that their candidate is certainly going to win. They say these things to clear their own heads of the uncertainty that the future holds.

I am for Peter Obi, I don't care if he wins. It is our country for the taking. And I will do the best for my fatherland. And I believe that in that spirit, Obi is best.

More importantly, I believe somewhere in my heart that whoever wins this election would certainly do better than Buhari. He has brought the bar so low, which was the reason tens of people bought the presidential election form.

Says a man that got zero vote in primary election. It's not totally sure for any of the candidates until after result announcement. There were more mouth making before GEJ was replaced. If he matters less, why always reference him instead of ignoring.

Why are they so bothered by Obi-Datti.
They know he is the next President!!
