In the context that is Daniel 9, there are 2 Anointed Ones mentioned. Both of them also happen to be rulers. The one was to usher in the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the temple - Cyrus, the one chosen by God to do just that - Isaiah 45. However, the other was responsible for much of that listed in verse 24 where He is indicated as being of Israel.

But known of them is referencing jesus....

We just have to do a historical check.

Only a couple of posts ago, they weren't even aware that there were two Anointed Ones referenced in that vision, but now that are pros at identifying Anointed Ones..

According to Isaiah , the one Anointed One --- called by name --- was to help facilitate the rebuilding of the temple while the other was to lead His people into the age of everlasting righteousness, and this job belonged to Lord Himself.

Surely the Anointed One is not the one created by the Roman Empire 2000 years ago which is being used today to deceive the gullible ones, who are thinking they are following the promised Messiah not knowing it was a Roman creation to control the minds of the people.

The funny part critics against Jesus' credentials as Messiah is lack of critical thinking skills.

The quality of a sound teacher is not someone quoting several other people but the ability to interpret what someone said and bring out it's practical application so that others may benefit themselves through acting on it.

All these could be summed up as fabricated lies if it never yielded any positive result in the gathering of those who believe (trust) Jesus' teachings on this planet but then it was recorded that there was a group of people few in number among the Jews who began putting what Jesus taught to good use back in the first century the book is called "Act Of Apostles"
Though what the writer recorded sound really odd to many people so centuries later the book became just a story book that has no positive effect in the lives of those carrying it up and down.
Along the line some Roman politicians came up with the idea of intimidating people into subjecting themselves to the Roman authority so they began working on the book written by the Jewish disciples of Christ Jesus and they did interpreted the book adding their own ideas to suit their political ambitions. But it's not easy using what the book says to control people everywhere that's the reason behind the idea of eternal torment in HellFire though Hell simply means Grave but they dubiously misinterpreted Jesus' statements making seem that anyone who disagree with them will end up in HellFire. Despite their threat many still did not fall for their tricks so they instigated those that agreed against those that disagreed and that was what led to wars called "CRUSADE" in the dark ages!

I just ready the whole of Isaiah 45.

I don't see anything there...

It was God admonishing Cyrus to free all his captives in Babylon. Who God had earlier sent there(by his anointed Nebuchadnezzar) so that they will learn about him as the only true God.

He even about 5 times that there is no one beside him....He is the God who created the earth and humans upon it...He is the saviour and there is no saviour beside him...

So where is jesus there?

How do you convince anyone that God exists and even if he believes in God how do you convince him that what you're quoting is from God?

Like I said, it is about peace ..not about quoting from any book.

Peace within and peace without...End of the day, we are all God's spirit or breath or active force experiencing life in different ways..At death, the active force or spirit returns to the creator and the body returns to earth... God's active force is pure, it does not need to be saved or ransomed from anything. I wonder what jesus death is Ransoming...

This can only come by setting boundaries and learning to follow them and teaching others to do so...

The laws are the same basis of the Yoruba traditional religion...it is the same as the Igbo omenani/odinani...

The only difference is the person telling the story, the core message in the story is consistent..if the Jews uses David and Goliath...and the Igbo uses Emeka and Osayi or the Yoruba uses Femi and Ajana....the message is still that the God within is greater than the obstacle in front of us..........

There is no mention of two messiahs in Isaiah 45...quote the relevant passages, let's see..
God is not a Messiah...God is the one doing the anointing...He can't be the one anointed....

The other Messiah is Cyrus..that God used to rescue his servant (Jacob or Israel) from the Babylonian exile...

Anyways, in Daniel 9, Daniel reveals his concerns to God and what God then does is revealed to Daniel that though He had chosen to curse and scatter the people of the Nation of Israel, He had given q grace period of what amounts to 70 sevens( a period of approximately 490 years) to the people of Judah, a time during which the people were to put their affairs in order, so to speak, before He, the Lord, enacted deal His final judgement against them.

Essentially, at the end of the 490 year period, God put a seal on visions and prophets meaning God put a stop to them completely meaning no new prophets have been sent by God to the people of Israel since that time, and no new visions revealed to Israel in almost 2000 years.

So, right there in Daniel 9 and in Isaiah 45, God does in fact confirm that He did curse and scatter all of Judah about 2000 years ago, making the only path available for redemption for all those who were cursed His path to everlasting salvation which is not obtained via following of the Old Law of Moses- the National Constitution of the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan.
