Keep shut, I still use it today, it's still very much in circulation.

Why a Nigerian will be happy others will lose their money surprise me, and you want me to support PO.

Most of you are so stupid, you think if Tinubu or Atiku want to buy vote, they need the old notes, I don't think there's any managing director of a bank that will say no to any of them.

Imagine the Senate president visit a bank to exchange 200 million of old note, he won't even leave his car before they felt it.

Btw, if they suspend the old notes, it will be easier for them to buy votes because everyone will be so cash starved that even 2k of new notes will do the trick.
But you sound as if those supporting it are not part of the suffering masses! I don't understand! Just say you're supporting your salve masters grin

Bayelsa and Edo joined on side of government (respondents) meaning that PDP states are supporting this cruel policy implementation by CBN. They will never be forgotten as among those on the side of oppressors (CBN and cabal). Nigerians! Know your enemies now!!! PDP and LP and their candidates and supporters including Emefiele and cabal are the oppressors of Nigeria. Buhari is just being used like Mumu front for all evil people.
See this mumu! When APC was suppressing the masses for 8 years now, where were you? Idiots cheesy

The Supreme Court Judgement on ex parte motion stands. Old naira remains a legal tender unless SC vacates its judgement.

Folks can now start suing Mr Emefiele in his personal capacity, the CBN, any bank or institution that rejects it and ask for their commital to prison or pay compensation to them for injury or discomfort caused them for rejecting the old N200, N500 & 1000 notes.

Election holds in 10 days. Once Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wins, SC or no SC , old notes will remain till December,2023 and Emefiele will be fired.

If you do not want the old Naira go and argue with the Supreme Court. Otherwise, you are at grave risk of being sued and paying damages. Serious organizations should have started putting their risk assessment in place now.

Only a tiny fraction of Nigerians are idle social media mind with 'anything goes' mentality or consumed by the politics of ignorance, hate and bigotry wink

Nobody is saying we are not suffering as a consequence of the policy. But for the past 7 years we've been suffering from APC's wickedness yet these evil governors never went to court.
Now that the suffering has reached their doorsteps they r pretending to act in defence of the masses.
I have a feeling Buhari wants to f*ck up Tinubu & the criminal governors. He should go ahead, let's bear it once and for all.
Funny how y'all criticizing only Buhari & Emefiele don't also call out Tinubu, the governors & the corrupt bank officials sabotaging the efforts of the CBN to stop vote buying.
We should stop being clever by half.

Nobody is sabotaging the CBN in this regard. Emiefele is a collosal failure as far as the implementation of this policy is concerned. Nobody other than the masses are suffering from this policy. The policy has failed abinitio.

The whole idea is to drag the interim order until after the election. Even on the next adjourned date, more governors will join and it'll be adjourned again. As long as the interim order subsists, the old notes continue to be legal tender. Tinubu will win this election and everything will be reversed with Emiefele sent to jail.
How can you be this daft?? The interim order was not extended! It expired already! Just dey play grin

What exactly is Tinubu's stake in this Naira issue??!... Why does his name keep popping up?!!

So he can't win an election without old notes still in circulation?!!

... That's seriously suspicious!!!

You don't get the point. Ask yourself why Buhari refused to sign the new electoral act before his reelection in 2019? Ask yourself why Buhari was sharing trader money in cash across Nigeria through osinbanjo during his reelection in 2019 and suddenly he's going cashless in a most poorly implemented manner. Ask yourself these questions. You'll know why Tinubu is voicing out. The issue is really not with the old notes but the recentment and anger the implementation is causing amongst the masses against the Apc under whose banner Tinubu is running for election. You think all these rubbish will happen if Buhari was running for an election? Think na!
Re: Supreme Court Adjourns New Naira Note Suit Till February 22 by afbstrategies: 1:30pm On Feb 15, 2023
What are they adjourning for? Are they buying time so they can get rid of their own old Naira notes?

So you acknowledge you're suffering the effects but still support it because it affected your imaginary enemy which is TInubu. Afterall, once we kill Tinubu Nigeria will become an eldorado abi? Dey play!

Let me tell you, it's easier to destroy things than building. Businesses that would be affected or destroyed by the policy would not be easy to rebuild. Emefiele that is simply bitter because he lost APC presidential ticket is not your concerns but Tinubu.

In the first 4 years we all saw how Tinubu was sidelined by Buhari and Abba Kyari and how well they ran the nation into debts. Tinubu supported Buhari same way he supported Fashola and Sanwo Olu to be governors. That Buhari ended up been a failure was never Tinubu's fault. That was on Buhari.

Tinubu will win and you will wail for atleast 4 years. And I'm sure El Rufai took you to his house where he was hiding the 22b also right?. This is why Aisha Buhari had to get someone like you arrested and beaten up weeks ago.

They supporting out of hatred, they have been told in their WhatsApp group that some of the aspirants want to buy votes and they have old notes in stock.

That is the real problem, if you say you care about the masses but they can lose all they have as far as your candidate can have an upper hand, according to you, he is a magician, once elected he will make everything perfect.

If POS operators still don't have new notes and some POS agents have thousands of naira they can take to the bank because they won't get equivalent cash back, how can you honestly say you are happy and it's good for him, all he did was open a business, he didn't do anything illegal, why should he suffer.

It's a different thing if the new notes is available and you can just walk in and make the exchange, the idea is stupid then, it's stupid now, I don't care if anyone electoral chance is destroyed, you can't sacrifice Nigeria on the alter of any politician.

Watch as the list of states grows on either side. This is a game of ostrich. Arguments won't change a damn thing. For your own good dispose of your old notes. This is the Nigeria many of you have been celebrating.

Thanks for your concern, but we don't give a crap, let the list grow, a governor supporting the deadline, but protesters are demonstrating and burning banks in his state, 50 percent of those in his state can't get money (cash, old or new) and you are saying he is wise, that is the height of foolishness, to think you can bold use that kind of an idiot as example say a lot about your state of mind.

Only a fool is actually expecting CBN to address Nigerians twice.. He hosted the envoys because he hasn't done it before.. But the message is clear to the banks, don't take the old notes after the 10th of February... So if you are foolish enough to trust your hard earned funds by picking side with the judiciary over the executive in a government that has been disregarding the judiciary from inception then that's your business
