Falling in love and being in sweet. It’s sweet madness. And we always have reasons we fall in love with a member of the opposite sex.

But sometimes, loving that person forever is not always guaranteed.

As people grow and mature; expectations change.

It's certain one might fall out of love with that partner they were once madly in love with.

Falling out of love with someone you were once head over heels for is not new to mankind. Hence, the concept of divorce and the like.

I once saw a topic on nairaland where a man was profusely begging his wife not to leave him and the kids, even when it was crystal clear that she was no longer interested in the marriage and has fallen out of love with her husband.

But what’s the mature way to handle situations where your partner loses interest in you and falls out of love with you?

It'd be better to move on with your life rather than compel such partner to fall back in love with you.. Because a broken love(trust) is most times difficult to redeem....
