Buhari is really onto something, he has got these politicians rattled,especially the APC guys. Extending the use of 200 naira old notes was a very very smart move. It will ease the pain of the masses and at the same time stiffle the politicians. Very good move from the president.

I don't know what Godwin Emefiele is giving the President that the President can't seem to listen to anyone, including the courts. This his declaration this morning was ill-timed, Ill-advised. The President cannot be above the law. We are in a democratic dispensation, there are what you call checks and balances. Emefiele is the cause of all these nonsense, and him having the backing of the President is more annoying. Now no one is collecting old money again. It's too annoying. Why not wait till next week when the Supreme court rules again before saying anything. It's like Emefiele is targetting certain individuals with this stupid policy of his. Because when violence breaks out now, it's the state governments that will bear the brunt. Emefiele will sit in that his high horse in Abuja and be looking. Businesses are not making sales. The poor corn seller on the roadside who don't have POS or bank account cannot make sales. Why must all Nigerians have to suffer because the CBN is trying to prevent vote buying. Forgetting that Nigerian politicians will always have their way, no matter what you do.

I think Femi don't know his job. Yes, the implementation was rough and not executed with the people as interests. Nigerians are suffering, yes, we all are. I am a Senatorial Candidate (APGA) of Cross River South and I can tell firsthand what the masses are going through because I visited so many ATMs and Banks to see and help those I could.

But this move was necessitated by the corruption in this administration and previous ones where most of you held in your homes billions without allowing the Nigerians see money to grow their businesses and live good lives.

By this simple move, all such funds planned to be used for vote buying since we still have Nigerians who think so little of themselves and wouldn't think ahead but abuse their conscience to selling of their votes and those of others, the N500 and the N1,000 stored in hidden places can't be used now.

So my legal friend, stop wailing and let Nigerians learn to vote without collecting money from those who have been destroying the country and give them Mandate to go destroy the Land more.

I bet you that those who have billions stacked in their homes are not affected because they also have monies in the banks.

For instance, they talked about a Governor who has 22 billion in his home. How does it affect him. With paper and pen, he can get that money in few weeks and nobody will talk.

Several POS operators are out of business because of this new policy. In my area alone, not even one out of the over 10 POS operators is working. All their shops are closed.

Those doing petty trading are crying because sales are very poor.

I could go and on.

These so called politicians they are trying to target don't have provisions with feeding or meeting their basic needs.

Let's assume they are targeting politicians who want to buy votes. They will still get the money to do it. Is this not Nigeria.

When the first badge of the new notes came, who got it? Even terrorists in the forests have it in millions but the common man does not have it.

So, it's a useless policy. It had a good intention but was poorly managed.
