BenedictStinson:

1) lump sum is a sum far greater than your usual deposits eg if your account monthly inflow has been averaging N10,000 monthly then even N100,000 or N200,000 becomes a lump sum. So if you have been averaging such amounts regularly it shouldn't be a problem.
2) As the principal applicant. You can hold all the POF for the family

Thanks this is helpful.

[quote author=Saxspirit post=121169701]Good evening nairaland family, I am newbie here and I would need your help and advices from my brothers and sisters here on what to do.

I am a graduate of microbiology (Bsc) in 2015 , and finished with 3rd class, I work in a hospital for few months and proceed to food companies, as at now I have worked in two food companies, my interest is in food and dietetics and public health.
Due to my deficiency I did PGD programme as well in microbiology last year and I am done now.
I plan on applying to schools in canada for my masters but my focus is nitrition/dietetics or public health. With this my qualifications am I good to go for masters of would you advice me to apply for another PGD in either of the two career path Aformentioned or I can apply directly for masters.

Lastly please kindly suggest schools I can apply too.
Thank you God bless, expecting quick response FAM.

Please help me attend to this gurus

Hello, house,
please can I travel to another country while awaiting the study visa application?

I look forward to your reply.

thanks
Yes for Canada, you can. If you are planning on sending your passport for stamping in that country, you will need to pay a higher transmission fee if your biometrics was done in your country of application submission.
You also need to send a webform informing them of your travel to a different location, particularly if you are going to be there for a while.

Hello Guys,

Please i need some clarification on an issue.
If i have a pending visit visa application since October last year that has not been approved and i now get admission into a Canadian University, can i apply for a study permit with the visit visa application still active?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Wsx2: 3:52am On Feb 24, 2023
Note that if you haven’t paid your tuition make sure you have the funds with you before coming to canada or pay before coming. I went to pickup someone at the airport who deferred admission till May 2023 hasn’t paid tuition but came in to canada this week, the visa officers only stamp him 3 months visa and told him to come back once he has paid his full tuition fee.

Guys be ready or else you will be stranded if you don’t have cash. Also it’s -9 degrees today the snow and ice on the road is almost 5 ft height. If you have gotten your visa prioritize buying wool winter jackets and not the thin jackets . Jackets here cost from 60 cad to as high as 900 cad in Toronto .

What of if someone school resumes by September 2023 and you have just been given visa..is it advisable to travel to canada now or still wait for some months before travelling there? ..
And if you decided to go now, will you be eligible to work before your school resumes in that September?
