Obi’s Votes Overtake Tinubu’s In Lagos by ijustdey(op): 7:48am On Feb 27, 2023
The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi is leading by votes in the results of the Presidential election held in Lagos on Saturday.

17 local governments had been declared by INEC as at 3:30 am before the collation was adjourned to 10: 00 am.

However, APC’s Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is leading in the local governments with 10 LGs already in his kitty while LP has won seven.

The local governments won by Tinubu include Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland and Surulere.

Obi on the other hand has in his bag Eti-Osa, Amuwo Odofin, Ikeja, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo and Somolu.

In total, Obi has polled 449,088 votes while Tinubu has so far garnered 416,,431 votes, leaving .

Only the results of Alimosho, Ojo and Mushin are being expected.

Mushin LG’s result was initially announced by the Collation Officer but it was rejected to some dispute in the figure.

Tinubu, a former Governor of the State, is still projected to win the majority votes in the state with Alimosho, Ojo and Mushin results being expected.

Alimosho which is the largest local government in the state may likely give the APC Presidential Candidate an edge over his arch-rival while he has also won Mushin.

But Obi is projected to win Ojo, an area dominated by non-indigenes especially the Igbos.

He lost Osun to PDP, now losing lagos to LP. Lost both is birth place and adopted place, and now the block votes ain't coming from the north. The grand patron of urchins is such an embarrassment and a pathetic loser. Remember: politics is local!

No single politician owns Nigeria, to be honest If other parties don’t join hands now to flush out APC, forget free and fair elections, forget freedom , Military regime will be better than APC , Lagos state is for the people not for a particular set .

Despite ballots snatching, assault, voter intimidation, thuggery, death threats to anyone who will vote Labour party he is still losing.
Tinubu did not win Apapa.

These elections were the most Free and Fair in history of Nigeria.

1. Tinubu was targeted with cash shortage and fuel scarcity. So people were angry with APC

2. Military tanks were deployed to Lagos. So no evidence of ballot snatching.

3. If there was rigging ... Will Tinubu permit Obi to win his LGA. In fact despite seeing a lot of rigging by Labour Party, everyone looked the other way

4. We heard "Fear North" and how North will treat Tinubu's "fuckups" and they did grin

Let us be factual... Tinubu won these elections free and fair.

Cry as much as you want like a MAN. Please don't weep like women or babies.

This is just a simple message to the Yorubas that it is only cowardice to allow a particular slave owner from iragbiji to cage their brains and destinies for over 3 decades without them doing anything about it. The slave owner imposes kings as he wishes, determines who lives and who dies, messed up the youths of the land and turned them to touts.

It is time to reclaim Lagos as a no man's land since lagosians have allowed a foreigner to own them as slaves for too long, Lagos belongs to everyone and if anyone should be asked to leave, it is the iragbiji man from osun state that should go back to his fatherland.

I repeat, Lagos is no man's land.

Even the votes of alimosho already collated,Labour won with 70,000 votes while APC has 60,000. Just wait till it is announced. I really can't say what will happen in that Lagos at the end of the day

Bubu did his best to get us a parting gift by conducting free and fair elections but these criminal elements are hell bent in frustrating his efforts.

Tinubu lost the whole Presidential election but will fraudulently be declared as President. He had long ago been rejected but is trying to force his way through with his ill-gotten money.

He will be declared winner in a fraudulent way but will not rule. A number of events will unfold but he will not rule Nigeria.

Yet he single handedly built Lagos.

This is a case of a landlord being ejected from his house by his own households in connivance with his tenants. grin

Win or lose Peter Obi is indeed the greatest of all time.
Re: Obi’s Votes Overtake Tinubu’s In Lagos by Amya(f): 8:55am On Feb 27, 2023
All these even with the rigging in Lagos State.

Without the rigging, LP would have left APC in a trail of dust. What a disgrace.

I will solely put the blame on the doorstep of INEC.
With their budget, there's no reason for INEC not to upload results from each PU immediately after the election as earlier promised.

This conduct is not acceptable, going forward.
