I was at Dei Dei building material market in Abuja today to buy marble slab for kitchen cabinet. Attached is the Tiler's calculation.

1st Place I went is a shop I bought all my tiles and several other things in the past. They said they sell per sheet and each sheet is N35,000 and a sheet is about 4.5 sqm. So I can buy 2 sheets which will be N70,000.

The 2nd place I went got me confused as they said their own is N20,000 per sqm meaning my total will be N140,000. This was the same category of Nigerian marble. I tried to get clarification and asked how many sqm is in a sheet and he also said 4.5. I asked for price of sheet and he still said 20k. Later in trying to calculate, I got really confused and left.

Can anyone clarify which of them was correct and how exactly is marble sold, per sheet or per sqm and what's the avg price of Nigerian type. From the attachment, my requirement is 6.767 sqm, let's say ~ 7 sqm.

20k per square meter is costly to me though. I have for 19k , and it's royal black , here in Abuja. Send me a mail in case you have any more projects that need it.

Hello engineers, please I need your input on the pros and cons of hidden flat roof in terms of harsh sunny weather, noise associated with heavy rain fall, leakages amongst others. I’m currently in a decision stage but then I want to also save cost if I should go for it or not.
Preferably from people who have done or currently living in a building that has it.

Here's my own view on such roofing system, it requires constant maintenance.

There are Different Mabel with different cost. The present market rate for Mable starts from N18,500 to N45,000 depending on the quality in Orile Lagos

So place like Deidei in Abuja should be a bit expensive

I'll like to know if there is a mini or small type of water pressure pump i can buy that will serve just my own house. So my place is a mini Estate we Terraces together, so is there a way a small pressure pump can be attached to just my own apartment that won't affect the others?
