Asa: Ogun State Community Where People Are Suffering — Man Cries Out by Lizzysamuel(op): 12:24am On Mar 09, 2023
Can you believe that there re people living in this condition in OgunState?
I’m not sure the sitting Governor Dapo Abiodun is aware.

There are over a 1000 households in this location.

How can humans live with no access to water & other basic social amenities?

Dapo Abiodun save Asa community in Yewa local government, these people lack all the basic amenities of life.

Let some youths keep fooling themselves and engaging in tribal slurs, instead of worrying about their state of origin and holding their leaders accountable.

This is so appalling. I am moved to tears...forget Nairaland Banter and tantrums. Where is that useless Dapo Abiodun, that pays miscreants to gather at campaign grounds, but finds it totally difficult to actually give them Clean WATER!!!

Even if they need to buy water, why not open up the place by empowering the people? Why not build a road network that will open effective urban to rural migration?

Why are our leaders cursed like this? See that child being washed in that stink-hole of putrid water!!

These are the kinda things these APC scoundrels should be pursuing, so that they can actually see the impact of their trolling and opening senseless posts
.

To imagine zombies with their Miscreant urchin partners claiming that the IGR of Ogun State is bigger than that of NIGERIA sef. grin

Stop the hate for other tribes, because if people decide to actually dig deep and scrutinize you Agbado Miscreant disciples, the results will be totally disgraceful.

Agbado zombies..should open threads AGAINST Dapo Abiodun..he has failed in Governance. Totally!!

About 2 or 3 look malnourished but it may not be as a result of lack of food if you look at their skin and the other well fed better looking kids. That is a lot of greenery around them so food scarcity is the least obvious.

No doubt they can live better, get dewormed etc , but this is a typical village setting with poor child spacing. Ogun state govt can move in to assist them.

If the picture of that old woman was taken bare chested without her permission and told that her picture will be displayed publicly in this manner, the Ogun state govt should get her justice and prosecute you.

See picture of children with kwashokwor below, taken during the Nigerian civil war in the liberated Eastern Nigerian villages in present day South East Nigeria. You can see the difference is much.

What message are you trying to pass with a picture of Nigeria civil war tongue

You are using the The Nigerian Civil War (6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970 pictures to justify the inhuman against humanity by your failed governor tongue
If you keep having multiple poorly spaced children, no govt in the world will cure your poverty.
Many of you are poorly raised today because of that. Your fathers earning poor lowly wages will be having 6 to 12 children and most of you grow up with the idea that govt owes your fathers to keep making babies he can not feed and train.

It is not giving them more food, free clean pipe borne water, healthcare and roads only to stop their poverty, it is getting them to be more responsible and enlighten them too. In Yoruba, there is a strong warning against having multiple children when you are poor. It brings untold yet avoidable poverty and social problems our elders warn. Omo beere ooshi beere they say. Late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister waxed an album on this issue and the warnings are strong enough. Take the campaign to your village too.

Those children in my picture have kwashiokwor and I used them to enlighten the OP. The war ended 53 years ago with no victor no vanquished wink

I know you lp mob unleashed by Mr Obi on our decency as a people will resort to insults as usual but before I report you to the mods, let me educate you; swollen stomach in children is not only caused by Kwashiokwor and look at the picture I shared then compare to the one the OP shared without your lens of hatred and bigotry.

This is one of them, including the child the mother is bathing, they look like Kwashiokwor in your eyes abi?

We deserve the kind of treatment this thieves we call leaders give us if by this time and age we still elect based on the fact that we were able to get money, food or other material items from a particular candidate during election. Someone who clearly didn't do anything for good 4yrs still planning to go for another term and might likely get reelected as long as he can dish out few cash Smh....

In the days of social media, everyone carries a smartphone and we all work in the media by default. Admittedly, government cannot see everything. That's why the citizens who bear the brunt of bad governance must expose their ineptitude.

In spite of the huge IGR of Ogun State, you wonder where the money goes. Perhaps the Druggie is taking a significant fraction of the money. Indeed, you don't need a PhD from Harvard University of Politics to know that Mr. Abiodun is an incompetent governor. Sadly, he will definitely win the next election.

Don't be blindfolded by your tribalistic ego.
Speak the truth and it shall set you free.
He talks about water shortage as well, and the pics above clearly shows the mother bathing the boy with a pinch of water, while the dude on yellow pant is gradually developing kwashiorkor.
Speak truth to power and Emancipate yourself from mental slavery.

Just watch... Imbeciles will turn this thread into a tribal war!

Such communities abound all over Nigeria from SouthEast to the North (Dem plenty here)!

These people have governors, senators, reps, and local council heads who wine and dine like kings!

Even if a global organization sends fund and materials to these poor people, their sons and daughters will divert them before it gets to them!
