IGBOSON1: Well i can't say for that, i know a lot of yorubas that are cool. But how does so much disinformation get into nairaland and no one bothers to verify, imagine thousands or even millions of people having read what he said, then next thing you'll hear is that seplat employs only ndi igbo. Only heaven can judge him, such a wicked and dark soul. 4 Likes |

OkoAmarashy:Say what's you know. No infighting in Seplat. Except politics of Roger Brown who is a racist and wants the administration tailored towards whites supremacist agenda. |
Re: Roger Brown Steps Down As Seplat CEO Over Allegations Of Racism by Omodua(m): 1:02am On Mar 11, 2023 |
OkoAmarashy:OkoAmarashy, that's the little you know about seplat. It's more than that. The problem is about cabals in the oil industry having connection with the presidency. They wanted a surrogate sort of leadership who will do their bidding. They settled for Roger Brown. Unfortunately, Roger Brown reneged on the promises of doing their bidding. Hence the Court Case to remove him. Not the narrative you're spewing here. 4 Likes |

2mercy: The sheer hypocricy and audacity of these morons. Racism is far more fathomable than tribalism, what have they done to those who have canned the embers of xenophobia and tribal war with their souls. I bet my left balls this dude dey learn work from the AFONJARACISTS who have killed and maimed and burned and persecuted their country men, because of elections and political differences. The market that was burnt the other day shey d mata oti sun ni ye, swept under the carpets, no arrests nothing, they know those who did it, they'll simply look the other way and clap for them secretly and even openly sef. A racist and heavily bigoted goverment run on nepotism and tribal supremacy ideals, discrimination and marginalization simply on the basis of tribe is preaching about Racism. Very shameless walking contradictions. Nigeria has been severally referred to as a zoo, unfortunately, Nigeria is worse than a zoo it is an assembly of the shittiest racists and tribal maggots to ever taint this world. 3 Likes |

Black Africans are a tribally minded group of people with no unity of purpose, so any group like that will always be subjugated, subjected to racism and suffer from chronic underdevelopment. |

He must have been really awful. There many racists in work places, they hardly get fired. Max they get warning from human resources department. This would affect his career for sure. Future employers would be wary. |

MadarasBlade: Well, I don't know if the guy you quoted is a serial bigot or not, but what I do know is that this tribalism issue with Seplat is relatively well known in corporate circles and I was personally aware of it since 2013 because I know a couple of qualified people who applied for a position there but were rejected because they weren't from SE (as they were hinted by HR insiders in Seplat after several follow ups). And if you check well this latest report about their CEO whose visa was revoked, the issue of tribalism was also mentioned separately from racism. And it does look unusual that an expatriate would practice the Nigerian version of tribalism which suggests that the guy is a mere front for a more powerful target behind the scenes in the company. That guy gave you an insider expose and you are just countering it with no proof. Note that my comment is coming from a position of factual knowledge as they were a client where I previously worked a long time ago so I'm not interested in bantering Yoruba vs Igbo tussle with you. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Omoalaji12: Know this: all you see is not all there is. While social media is awash with fake news, the traditional media is the worst tool ever. Because it can be used as a mind control tool: where you will only hear what they want you to hear. Hear once, but think twice before responding. |

ThierryJay: What a load of conjectured horseshit and heresay! You really wanna sit there and tell me SEPLAT employed more Igbo than say Oando and Globacom employed more Yoruba, or Dangote employed more Hausa-Fulani! You expect of Igbo, standards and behaviour you don't intend to apply to yourselves. Any bigoted fool or malcontent aiming to give the coy a bad name for whatever reason can make all sorts of wild accusations! Until they've been proven in court, they remain just that....'accusations'! 5 Likes |

budaatum:I know you are one moronic dumbass paid to do a clean up job somewhere.. most likely under a rock. Well he’s a failed CEO who chooses to bring racism to Nigeria. He should leak his wounds in Britain and pick up the shattered pieces of his eternally failed career. He would even be lucky to get a job as a grade 6 teacher. Fool!!! |

budaatum: If he is not doing so, why not help him in filing his case in court? An expatriate is evidently maltreating your fellow Nigerians, and you are busy supporting his evildoing, as though you know better than the Minister, and the Interior Ministry officials who revoked his visa. |

OkoAmarashy: Stop putting pepper in your story - which one be SS and SE in this conversation? Talk about the characters and stop playing tribes. The two company top brass are having squabbles about power and control. That's the bottom line. Trying to paint it to look tribal is wickedness. What do you really know about Austin or Orjiakor than what you read? 7 Likes |
